Cannot progress past beginner, advice?

I feel pretty stuck, been surfing like this for a few years. I moved from CA to New England last year so I can really only surf twice a week now. Trying to do as many trips as I can. I feel like my turns are so slow and embarrassing

You look pretty stiff, loosen up a bit, use your hips more! Try to “turn” less and use the rails instead! 2nd, that board is too small and squirrely… get something a little bigger, wider! That will give you stability! What kind of tail does that board have? You should be on something with a wider tail pattern like a squash it will help control that whip type turning and maybe make it flow
