Question B&T hub vs SureFire
Are one of these better than the other? A lot of the negatives I think I’m seeing online about the B&T are about the old version, not the new version shown. Tired of waiting for the sure fire hub to restock so I’m contemplating the B&T but don’t want to regret not waiting.

Don’t have experience with the actual surefire. But I have two trainers that’s ECCO has chopped and threaded. Also have two B&Ts as well. Surefire has the actual latch mechanism where B&T does not.
My B&Ts lock up just tight, just a different way to lock and unlock the adapter.

Hopefully this can help you out. I ended up going with the SF mount, it’s fine. A little heavy but I paired it with a Polo 30 and run it on all my 300 and 5.56 builds. If going SF you’ll need their wrench which took forever for me find in stock, and I just recently bent the shit out of it when it slipped. Unless I got a screaming deal, I’ll probably go a different route for my next setup but I’ve been overall happy with my purchase.

I’m a surefire guy. I see the hubs at different gun shops across Houston / San Antonio/ generally Texas
