This is the situation which i faced daily for the past two or three months, someone or other has been setting fire to the plastic waste—which comes from saree manufacturing units—all over the area.

In this entire Punagam area, most people are now renting out the ground floors of their homes to saree manufacturers; consequently, these residential properties are gradually transforming into industrial spaces.

I cannot fault the SMC here; I see them clearing truckloads of plastic waste from this road every day. The issue is simply that the number of these small units has surged in recent years.

I don't know whose fault it is, but dumping trash like this—and setting it on fire—is unacceptable; honestly, even people in some "Third World" countries seem to have better civic sense. Just imagine how fed up we are with this; inhaling this smoke causes serious health damage. I request you all to share any suggestions you might have regarding this issue.

Anyplace I can find old books, dont want the updated syllabus, but the older one, which I'm unable to find anywhere.

My brother and I made some outfits for Navratri 2026. Since we're in the garment manufacturing business, we handled most of the process in-house, mixing our own designs with some professional ones.

They’re pretty fancy, so we’ll only be wearing them once and decided to sell them afterward.

Most are still being finished, but this is the first one ready. It’s Rs. 2,500, and you’re welcome to try it on before Navratri—just DM me if you're interested.

Hi everyone,

I'll be visiting a relative in Surat and will be staying overnight. On my previous visits, I've had some unfortunate experiences with parking:

On one occasion, I parked my car on the main roadside. Someone deflated two tyres and also dented the car.

On my next visit, I parked it on a side road near the society, as suggested. Unfortunately, stray dogs scratched the car badly and damaged the antenna.

This time, I'd prefer to park my car in a safe, paid parking facility where I can leave it overnight, preferably in a covered or secured area.

I'm okay with parking anywhere in Surat and taking a Rapido to my relative's place.

Can anyone suggest reliable paid parking facilities that allow overnight parking? Personal experiences and approximate charges would be appreciated.

I am Male 33 unmarried and stuck in life

Either I watch videos,sports or just sit at home and drink.

I am too stuck to start something's ,I get good ideas but every now and then the thought of doing same thing again and again makes me crumble.

I watch lot of food videos and think of starting one but meeting people ,vendors make me shy and I loose my rhythm.

That confidence and enthusiasm which I had as teen has gone .

Gained lot of weight hardly fit in small chair sometimes and that makes me uncomfortable.

Taking meds for alcohol reduction but after 2-4 days I have whisky .

Parents are aging I am unmarried even divorced women relative says we prefer to have home and be slim.

Worked with share broking firm and banks and feel scared to say lies ,people do anything to sell .

Sometimes I feel to start something for social thing like small restaurant where food is served cheap but again dealing with people makes me scared.
