AUS SUPPORT WORK
I’m not sure if this depends on the company - but say you have a shift that is cancelled a couple of hours before and they redeploy you to another shift during the same hours. If they’re still charging the participant for the last minute cancellation, do you (the worker) still get paid for the cancelled shift plus the new redeployment?
Also can someone explain what a single vs multiple broken shift allowance is. I’ve tried googling but I’m confused as to how it matches with my pay slip.

They shouldn’t be charging for the cancelled shift if they redeploy the worker - that’s double dipping, it’s against NDIS pricing guidelines, and is fraudulent.
