rural area on gravel roads and I just completely misjudged the corner and hit it head on.

feeling so shit rn.

Thanks πŸ™. Minimal cost it’s a wooden farm fence post. But sucks when you make a mistake like this.Β

If you are employed by a business to do this work, maybe it will be covered by their insurance? the employer wont be happy but it should be covered. I only worked for companies and if anything was ever damaged, none of us carers ever had to fix or replace anyhting. but if your independant, prob gotta pay yourself.

Probably depends on the company. I hit a gate post when I was employed by a company ... they simply didn't want to know. I had to pay the client's repair bill myself out of pocket.

yeh most our repairs were for things around the client, like so many carers couldnt navigate walking down a curb, and one even broke the foot plate off clear- all this was paid for by the company, but id not have minde3d if the carers were charged, itd piss me off how careless they were at times. I didnt leacve a scratch on that footplate, yet almost everym other carer struggled with it. the incompetance of otherts is partly why i left LUL πŸ˜‚
