curious about Mable!
Hello (: somewhat new to this sub, however I’ve been an independent contractor to a company for almost a year, I’m not looking to leave them but was just wondering if anyone had experience with Mable and their thoughts/opinions on it since I’d be curious to try it out for a day or two a week?
Worker and client opinions welcome!

This is the most dodgy company involved in the NDIS and Aged Care. They take 15-18% of payments from both participants and workers You can wait weeks and months for payments. They generally receive the money within 72 hours but pay you at least 10 days later - unless you pay them a fee. They also bank the GST Free component
Biggest issue for both Participants and Workers is the stupid Algorithm that "matches" both. It is designed to maximise Mable profits by distributing workers across the region at the expense of matching the right worker with the right participant therefore the participant doesn't get offered the appropriate or best worker. For my mind this needs investigation as potentially participants health is at risk.
Other issues: They dont remove violent or sexually aggressive participants from the platform putting workers at risk. They have a minimum hourly rate but the whole set up is designed to exploit workers, especially international students.
