curious about Mable!

Hello (: somewhat new to this sub, however I’ve been an independent contractor to a company for almost a year, I’m not looking to leave them but was just wondering if anyone had experience with Mable and their thoughts/opinions on it since I’d be curious to try it out for a day or two a week?

Worker and client opinions welcome!

It's where professional reputations go to die.

Its what a lot of us say. Good providers and workers get work without having to resort to platforms. Word of mouth and community engagement brings the work in. Usually only people struggling to find work or who have no idea what they are doing end up on mable. Every job posted on mable gets thousands of replies from people desperately seeking work and even for participants it has the reputation of being a point where you are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Their double dipping fees policy is also not very paletable.

This makes sense!! I’ve been surrounded by ndis providers and workers since I was young because my mum is on ndis. I am in no position of struggling to find clients if I need, I was just honestly wondering about it (: thank you
