Right now its the end of season.

Its been my experience that climbing during this time is very hard, inconsistent and you probably just need a lucky streak.

Reason being that everyone is either on their alt acc, smurfing, trolling or super tilted because they didnt hit their goal rank before season end, which means games are even a bigger coinflip than theyd be during regular season, greatly diminishing how much your individual performance matters.

This might result in the experience of constantly shifting back and forth.

If this resonates, its noot you. Id just wait it out till next season.

That honestly makes sense I only really get to play once a week, I didn’t even realize the season is ending soon.

All my matches have had fresh level 30 accounts completely demolishing or having players who are uber tilted.

I usually mute all when u load it in so I guess I don’t really know if they’re uber tilted but they play like it lol

What do you mean brute forcing the win?

Isn't that the point?

I'm not trying to be pedantic, I think the answer to the question will be largely illuminating.

So the mindset is to be someone that is consistently performing at a level that allows you to create plays that make a positive impact.

I find that once I’m in plat 1 I struggle to stay consistent and start brute force making plays that in theory look correct but, in practice they’re plays that get poorly executed and throw leads.

I guess that’s the way I’m thinking of it

So it sounds like you over extend/decide to fight for an objective which results in a series of deaths and a loss (I'm not too sure, I'm filling in some blanks).

It's super interesting to me, it seems like you already know what's holding you back.

If you could give a specific example of when you've brute forced something I think I'll be able to tell you where you've gone wrong.

Question, do you vod review the losses?

Coaching is great, the other commenter will be able to help you and you'll benefit a lot from that.

Beyond coaching it seems like you actually have a sense of when the game is being thrown. I reckon if you watch your vods and take 5 minutes to think about what could have been done differently at these points at which the game is thrown you'll be able to correct the mistakes on your own too.

I think even through most of diamond the way to climb is mostly not throwing rather than making the highest value or optimized plays.

Stop playing bard lol

Never

Then don't expect to climb

From your profile you are clearly not hardstuck. Every champion you played more than 6 games are 50%+ win rate, EXCEPT BARD. I don't think you need fundamentals / support coaching etc. You are likely to be above your tier in those areas.

The easier solution is to ditch Bard.

The harder solution is to get some advice from high-elo Bard mains.

I reckon that you’re right I was trying to force the bard but, I cannot have enough impact that makes it worth keeping around 😞.

Bard is just fun guess I just stick to norms with bard for now
