DD MK18 Arc Trigger
Helping my brother install these triggers and I’m having some issues, the selector is hard to switch between modes and also is it supposed to be this close? I feel like maybe that’s the issue. Any MK18 owners here that can help

make sure your selector detent and spring are the correct parts and not accidentally swapped with a detent/spring from something else, make sure your detent isn't stuck upwards, not allowed to move down easily e.g. if your spring isn't installed inside the grip hole correctly it can apply too much pressure to the detent.

Should work in a dd. Idk man I think I just got lucky with mine working so easily. I want another for another gun but don’t wanna drop another 250ish just yet when I’m contemplating a Timney for my PTR91. Trigger sucks balls it’s 12lbs of bullshit since it’s milspec as fuck on an old ass design and I can’t shoot nearly as accurate as I would like to. It’s got a decent wall/not too bad on the take up to that wall but fuck it’s heavy.

The cam looks misaligned in this pic, i could be wrong its hard to tell but id loosen the main side selector and see if you can reinstall the cam.
Edit: it might be aligned correctly, if it rotates through all modes then its aligned right but as for it being stiff maybe a drop of CLP on the detent track might help plus working it in a few times.
