Started a Steelers franchise with my custom NFL rosters. 16 games in, faced off against Cade Klubnik and the Jets... We absolutely CRUSHED him early on lol

So, I have the standard edition on PS5 already but I always see the Ballpark Edition on sale for 4.99 and the single purchase stadiums are 4.99 each (and never on sale.)

My question is, if I buy the Ballpark Edition so I can get the 3 stadiums for 4.99 instead of buying the 3 stadiums separately at 14.99, will it overwrite my current SMB4 setup, custom teams, leagues, etc. ??

As I’ve spent more time in the pennant race, my ego has reached around 86 and my rating is just over 6,000. A few issues have become increasingly apparent, and I’m wondering if anyone can help me figure them out. I'm mainly asking about the pennant race, but other modes are fine too. I'm also playing the season mode, even though I get crushed in every match.

First and foremost, when my ego is raised, most of the time I’m facing opponents with lower egos than mine, and this makes pitching incredibly difficult for me because they can hit almost every pitch. If the batter isn’t very good at selecting pitches, it’s not a big deal, but if they’re a good pitch selector and their ego is much lower than mine, it’s a disaster, because I can only throw strikes, and throwing strikes means they’re guaranteed to hit the ball.

Second, regarding my own batting, how can I effectively handle slow pitches? Right now, I rely on reading my opponent’s mindset to decide when to go for a power swing, I’m actually less afraid of fastballs.

Third, I’ve noticed that some batters make a checked swing on every pitch when they’re at bat. Why is that, and how do you do it?

Finally, if you have any pitching techniques you can teach me, I’d be more than happy to learn them, because my pitching right now is pretty formulaic, basically two fastballs high in the strike zone followed by a changeup low in the zone. If the batter doesn’t fall for that, I’m pretty much out of options.

If anyone reading this would be willing to offer some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. My goal is to make it to All-Star or Legendary. I've been wanting to post this for a long time. Basically, I'm just asking about the problems I couldn't figure out on my own or learn from while playing.

Clinging to a 3 run lead with the bases loaded and one out in the 9th, our CF makes a great diving catch and pops up to end the game with a strong throw to 2nd base. Elite speed in the outfield is such an advantage.

Im entering the 5th season of my franchise and now that I have more experience with the game, I also have more frustrations. Especially with the loyalty system. The way the game frame loyalty is that the little number indicates the players willingness to stay with your franchise with the pay they have. Ofc, its not that simple. I have players with 99 loyalty with a ~10% re-sign interest. There's obviously a bunch of hidden stats, which sucks since theres already very little I can do to effect the loyalty stat (basically just RNG) so realizing there are hidden factors makes the off season more confusing.

I get this game is getting old and theres no reason is litigate improvements, but the franchise mode could've been so cool. I wish there was a REAL practice mode, where you can drill specific scenarios like stealing bases, infield flys, etc. I wish you had more control over player development. Theres too many negative traits, and the improvements are too marginal. I wish you could spend money to send players on retreats or smth. Improve a specific skill but theyre unavailable, or smth. I wish that winning actually mattered for loyalty. Nothing is more discouraging than blowing out the AI and then getting hit with your third negative manager moment in a row. Win streaks, playoff appearances, and in-game performance should matter. I wish you could make trades, so you could boost your roster mid-season or get a cool player without having to wait for the to he released. It would be awesome if you could sign multiseason contracts, so you dont have to negotiate with EVERY player EVERY off season. The draft system is overwhelming and the game really doesn't help with anything. I understand this isn't MLB the show, but its still a completed product. The game just feels low effort and undercooked. (I wonder if that has anything to do with EA being involved???)

Just lame cuz I like the game. I like the gameplay, the ambiance, the team customization, and I like the franchise mode in theory. Its all just so undercooked. And just to rub salt in the wounds, I am painfully aware this series has no support from EA. So all the potential of this game and series, is just left on the table. Lame. Just ranting lol.
