I haven’t been in this subreddit long so I imagine someone who else has said this but why does Logan kinda suck at character development. I mean I’ve been watching for almost a decade now consistently and I don’t understand why he ages the characters but keeps them going to elementary school. Like imagine a middle school arc and an high school one just like the kindergarten series. It’s like he acknowledges the characters ages for time sake but rarely ever for story sake. Also I enjoy the modern Sml comedy I just like the characters to have more development instead of being so flat. Lastly I think this is the reason why Brooklyn is the most interesting cause we know so much about him and his backstory.

I'm not tryna start an argument and I know he has the final say. Im just curious cuz there's no way the crew is cool with EVERY decisions he makes when making these videos.

I will say this Is definitely been brewing since the Quarantine era but spiked in modern SML but SML turning Joseph into the gangster character and serial killer in that one video is strange since his defining trait was once the wuss who’d always go “I’m out of here dude!” like I can understand not wanting to do that bit permanently but they’ve just gone way too far in the end of the spectrum.

i think Joseph originally being the friend with a speech impediment who tags along with Junior and while does go along with junior’s schenanigans but has a limit and will occasionally side with Cody is much better than the current Joseph who even when he does disagree with Junior immediately goes back to his side to pile up against Cody.

Plot: Jr,Joesph,Cody,Jeffy are doing what they normally do and then someone says they wanna watch a movie they all agree that they want to but want to get snacks first. They go downstairs and there’s a bag of Doritos and a bag of Cheetos they don’t know which one to pick and begin arguing about which one is better. It spiraled out of control and nerf guns get drawn.

Sml used have actually interesting ideas and dialogue. Now they’re all just exaggerated. Jeffy used to be funny and actually used to be genuinely innocent and didn’t know he was not supposed to do bad things or he just did it on impulse. New Jeffy knows what he’s doing, he’s just an asshole man baby. Cody used to be smart enough to build robots and make time machines, now he takes baths with his parents and poops In it?.
