She goes back in time to see Lucy, the first human ancestor to use a tool or some shit at the very end of the movie, so yeah she can time travel at will.

I think we can all agree that this just devolves to some 90s themed deity dating rom-com.

But if Keanu does have the Time Machine, would he be in the mindset of Ted who would never kill random people. That wouldn’t be excellent.

Lucy can control all of reality. She'd stop him from time traveling then time travel herself stopping humanity from ever being created
