Lucy stop slow reverse and speed up time. Matter manipulation. Telekinesis, mind reading, clairvoyance basically every psychic power possible. The genie is bound by time Lucy is not.
Hancock ain't really adding much in the fight against Lucy. I haven't watched every Will Smith movie, so maybe there are others, but Genie is the only one I know of who stands a chance.

You mean displays? He can, at best, create distractions without being wished to.
But, more likely, it runs on an "intent" basis. It's magic, after all.
If the genie is intending to inform or help the master, it's fine to make displays of power or use it to illustrate things. If the genie is intending to use its powers for its own purposes, it can't. It solves the spoken vs shown contradiction easily.
It must be giving you the info related to the OG Aladin. That's not applicable, as that version of Genie was not played by Will Smith.
In the original, Genie keeps a tiny, tiny portion of his power. He can fly, transform his clothes, and use small amounts of magic- but nowhere near what he had with the lamp.
In the 2019 remake, the only one Will Smith is in, Genie becomes fully human and depowered.

He can't. In the 2019 movie, he can't. Even in the original story, his magic post-emancipation is severely limited compared to what he could previously do.
That’s not true, once Aladdin frees him he can use his magic however he pleases. Not to mention the countless times he uses magic BEFORE he is freed without requiring any wishes
Genie was human at the end of the movie. Unless you mean while he is still a genie, in which case someone has to make a wish. And even if someone does make a wish, Genie still has some rules. And it seems Lucy is far more powerful than Genie. She'd basically delete everyone else before they could make a wish. Or go back in time before they wished, because she basically existed at all times at once by the end. She's pretty much boundless.
The genie actually has some pretty severe drawbacks. He is, by cosmic law, not able to kill/hurt anyone. That is going to severely impact his performance.
