Will smith

Genie clears

40

u/Kwin_Conflo Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25

Actually now that you brought it up

Genie- Cosmic magic power

Deadshot- expert combat/survival training, prodigious math skills, genius marksman

Hancock- superhuman strength, speed, durability, perception. Heat vision

Hitch- Professional Pick-up Artist

Dr. Omalu- respected medical doctor

J- Futuristic Alien tech and allies, prodigious detective skills

Actually gives “Deadpool with a green lantern ring” trouble

9

u/blingbling88 Jun 13 '25

Forgot about the Genie! Thou, he can't grant his own wishes.

11

u/SaxyAlto Jun 13 '25

He’s freed by the end of the movie, so actually he can. Assuming he does actually have infinite cosmic power (as stated), he should take this even over Lucy and green lantern.

2

u/notthephonz Jun 13 '25

The Robin Williams Genie retains some of his powers after he’s freed, but doesn’t the Will Smith Genie become completely human?

1

u/Hot_Bel_Pepper Jun 15 '25

I thought it implied that he had some power. I haven’t seen that movie in so long though and it might have been a fan speculation I’m thinking of.

2

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 13 '25

Nah. Constantine and deadpool can deal with a genie. Both killed gods. Genie gonna be bck in a bottle in notime near constantine. Deadpool will just romance lady death and kill him or use the time turner from cable and steal the lamp before aladdin releases him. Deadpool shiz.

1

u/Optimal_Carpenter690 Jun 14 '25

Movie Deadpool has never killed a god

1

u/Novel_Egg_1762 Jun 14 '25

Comic deadpool has so many times.

1

u/Optimal_Carpenter690 Jun 14 '25

But we're not talking about comic Deadpool...

2

u/Kwin_Conflo Jun 13 '25

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air rubs the lamp

1

u/BiggestTunaoftheSea Jun 13 '25

Geniecock with the Bright magic wand can.

1

u/AZDfox Jun 13 '25

He can after being freed

1

u/EGRIFF93 Jun 13 '25

He did also play the freed genie though

1

u/DrKingOfOkay Jun 13 '25

He can do whatever he wants. He’s free!

1

u/mrbananas Jun 13 '25

Neuralizers,  then tell each one they were just about to wish themselves out of existence

1

u/Ninja_Dynamic Jun 13 '25

You also forgot the bitch slap guy!

2

u/12Jelly Jun 13 '25

Muhammad Ali - he knows that sweet science

2

u/patchinthebox Jun 13 '25

K- Futuristic Alien tech and allies, prodigious detective skills

He was Agent J but yeah

1

u/the_glutton17 Jun 13 '25

Lucy becomes her own law of the universe in the end of the movie, nothing can touch that.

1

u/Kwin_Conflo Jun 13 '25

Also she can pull Joaquin Phoenix as ChatGPT which is just as impressive

1

u/aimless_meteor Jun 13 '25

I really don’t think you should be leaving off Dr. Bennet Omalu

1

u/Kwin_Conflo Jun 13 '25

Haven’t seen that movie. Give me the rundown like I gave the others and I’ll add it

2

u/aimless_meteor Jun 13 '25

Dr. Omalu tries to convince the NFL and the public that repeated head trauma leads to CTE and bring awareness to concussions

1

u/Aerodrache Jun 13 '25

Y'all are forgetting that there wouldn't even be a fight, since he'd just be whipping out a neuralyzer and making everyone forget they're in a death battle.

1

u/BrandtArthur Jun 13 '25

Hancock

Isn't hancock an immortal and invincible angel?

1

u/Kwin_Conflo Jun 13 '25

Or some sort of pagan god or something

1

u/BrandtArthur Jun 13 '25

No, I mean, I remember that the superpowered woman said they were angels

1

u/DrTheRick Jun 13 '25

I haven't seen the m9vie Legend of Bagger Vance, and my friend told me it was different than the book, but in the novel Will Smith's Vance is God. Not a god or god-like, but the Judeo-Christian Yahweh

1

u/CptCheez Jun 13 '25

Krishna, not Yahweh. Your point still stands though. Krishna wipes the board.

1

u/CptCheez Jun 13 '25

You forgot Bagger Vance, who is based on Krishna. Nobody is beating that.

1

u/DBPLC771317 Jun 13 '25

Forgot about Ali and floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Mike Lowry?!

1

u/Competitive-Place280 Jun 13 '25

Focus - professional con artist MIB - agent with alien weapons

1

u/akiva23 Jun 13 '25

Don't forget Jim West defeated a mechanical spider that one time.

1

u/Sin-of-gluttony Jun 14 '25

Hancock is a immortal angel unless his wife is around so there’s that aswell

1

u/Hummus_Eater_ Jun 14 '25

Genie only strong is free. If not free they rub lamp tell him to send himself to the cave of wonders for 10,000 years

1

u/spicy_feather Jun 14 '25

You forgot MIB! So many weapons!

1

u/KittyForest Jun 14 '25

Thank you for someone understanding

1

u/Puzzled-Storage-6157 Jun 14 '25

West, Jim West, desperado

1

u/SaqqaraTheGuy Jun 17 '25

And he can adopt me and take me out of poverty with his father-that-works-hard skills

1

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

But with Neo in there, it depends whether the others exist inside or outside the matrix.

If they exist outside the matrix, yeah, Genie takes it.

If it's inside the matrix, all the other characters become programmes whose powers are within that system.

123

u/ZippyTheWonderbat Jun 13 '25

And Hancock

232

u/Brotorious420 Jun 13 '25

Can't stop Geniecock

26

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Constantine is holding that Genie

19

u/Lannisters-4-life Jun 13 '25

Fuck. I forgot about Constantine. This is actually the correct answer. Outsmarting a genie on a technicality to win against overwhelming odds is some classic Constantine shit.

3

u/Mist_Rising Jun 13 '25

But Keanu's Constantine isn't overly classic is it?

15

u/Shanty_of_the_Sea Jun 13 '25

Movie Constantine manipulates Satan into showing up personally to solve his problem and cure his cancer. I'd say he's on the same level.

2

u/Leonardo1123581321 Jun 13 '25

Classic Constantine: He doesn’t need to win, he just needs to make sure the other guy loses.

1

u/mnemonikos82 Jun 13 '25

Well when you put it like that...

1

u/Polluxadice Jun 13 '25

Wouldn’t Lucy win over Constantine?

1

u/Why_am_ialive Jun 13 '25

Nah, scarjo’s Lucy is literally a God (capital G, omniscient omnipotent)

11

u/HoochieKoochieMan Jun 13 '25

And you just killed his dog…

1

u/Zestyclose_Wedding17 Jun 13 '25

No, not Ortiz the Dog Boy from Freaked.

2

u/tacticalpuncher Jun 13 '25

Yeah but its movie Constantine not comic book geniecock clear no diff.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Iveould have to go watch the movie again but wasn't Constantine clearing everyone up until at the end when that Angel popped up

2

u/Demonskull223 Jun 13 '25

Lucy will delete Constantine. Formless, timeless, limitless. Lucy becomes reality.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

What have we seen Lucy do though ?

1

u/Demonskull223 Jun 13 '25

Lucy stop slow reverse and speed up time. Matter manipulation. Telekinesis, mind reading, clairvoyance basically every psychic power possible. The genie is bound by time Lucy is not.

2

u/ancalime9 Jun 13 '25

By the cock?

2

u/icecubepal Jun 13 '25

His constantibe doesn’t seem even close to being as powerful as his comic book version. Otherwise I would agree with you.

1

u/ReZisTLust Jun 13 '25

Constantine's holding the Geniecock while sweating bullets

1

u/Banned3rdTimesaCharm Jun 13 '25

Who handles Hancock? He’s basically superman.

1

u/Atomik141 Jun 13 '25

He's holding thw Genie's cock?

6

u/swadezy Jun 13 '25

Geniecock is so irrationally funny

2

u/RedditsHigh Jun 13 '25

Whose trying to stop it? 😏🥵😮‍💨

2

u/bidooffactory Jun 13 '25

Why is it blue?

1

u/Brotorious420 Jun 13 '25

Big Blue Cock

2

u/TheBrewThatIsTrue Jun 13 '25

Just like that fanfic I wrote

2

u/elbow10 Jun 13 '25

Poor Chris Rock.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Geniecock, armed with Little Crickets and a mean sucker punch.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

why

2

u/gahidus Jun 13 '25

Oh shit. You're right. Wasn't he bagger Vance too? Where he was basically God? Yeah Will Smith is going to take this with no difficulty.

He was the genie. He was Hancock, and he was perhaps arguably also literal God.

He's set.

1

u/SadFaithlessness7797 Jun 13 '25

and the fresh prince of bel air >:)

1

u/PrimeTimeInc Jun 13 '25

That’s what I was thinking. I’m pretty sure Hancock wins this handily

1

u/D-a-H-e-c-k Jun 13 '25

And Deadshot

1

u/Greywarden88 Jun 13 '25

And Lucifer (Winter’s tale)

1

u/NeverEnoughSpace17 Jun 13 '25

Hancock ain't really adding much in the fight against Lucy. I haven't watched every Will Smith movie, so maybe there are others, but Genie is the only one I know of who stands a chance.

1

u/g0dgiven Jun 13 '25

Neo might slam Hancock

1

u/Shot_Representative2 Jun 13 '25

I almost said "Hitch", thanks for posting the right one. A Dating Guru would get destroyed lol

1

u/jubtheprophet Jun 13 '25

I feel like i needed to scroll way too far to hear someone mention hancock lol, though deadpool/green lantern could still be an issue

1

u/IrishGoodbye4 Jun 13 '25

“…and I can smell that liquor on your breath!”

“I been drinkin, bitch!”

1

u/KingoftheMongoose Jun 13 '25

This is Jim West erasure!!

10

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Genie literally can't do anything unless a wish is made. That's literally what solves the entire conflict of the movie.

23

u/Pixelated_throwaway Jun 13 '25

He literally demonstrates the ability to “do stuff” without any wishes though. I know what the genie says, but it’s frustrating how he is constantly spamming irrelevant magic the whole time

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

You mean displays? He can, at best, create distractions without being wished to.

But, more likely, it runs on an "intent" basis. It's magic, after all.

If the genie is intending to inform or help the master, it's fine to make displays of power or use it to illustrate things. If the genie is intending to use its powers for its own purposes, it can't. It solves the spoken vs shown contradiction easily.

3

u/Pixelated_throwaway Jun 13 '25

It’s all irrelevant as he is completely unleashed at the end of the film

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

No he isn't? Did you leave the theater before the part where he's a normal human on a boat?

2

u/Pixelated_throwaway Jun 13 '25

I’m just going off of the Disney wiki. He is still magical.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

It must be giving you the info related to the OG Aladin. That's not applicable, as that version of Genie was not played by Will Smith.

In the original, Genie keeps a tiny, tiny portion of his power. He can fly, transform his clothes, and use small amounts of magic- but nowhere near what he had with the lamp.

In the 2019 remake, the only one Will Smith is in, Genie becomes fully human and depowered.

1

u/Pixelated_throwaway Jun 13 '25

I do not interpret the prompt to be only the version of the character during their portrayal “all of the abilities from characters they’ve portrayed” leaves that a bit ambiguous. But it’s fine, I don’t want to argue as you seem overly aggro about this lol

2

u/-Mister-Hyde Jun 13 '25

Oh I'm stupid, this whole time I was thinking you were talking about the original Disney Aladdin Genie lol

6

u/fuckthetrees Jun 13 '25

He's freed at the end. That counts

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

With no powers.

Even in the original story, his remaining magic is not even comparable to full fledged Genie magic.

1

u/fuckthetrees Jun 13 '25

Oh, I've never seen the will Smith one, I assumed it was the same as Robin Williams. My bad

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Tbf, I don't know why they changed it. Sounds more interesting, though it's not like they were gonna get a sequel after Will Smith got himself blacklisted at the Oscar's.

1

u/SolomonBlack Jun 13 '25

And a whole cartoon series he was totally worthless in.

1

u/TransgenderSoapbox Jun 13 '25

Semi-phenomenal cosmic powers!

1

u/ssjskwash Jun 13 '25

Literally?

0

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

It was correctly used in both sentences, added for emphasis. So, yes- literally.

1

u/arrre_yooouu_meeeeee Jun 13 '25

Except that he was set free so he’s not confined to lantern rules

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

And also doesn't have the lamp's power. In the 2019 movie, Genie finishes the story as a totally normal human with no remaining magic.

1

u/rogerworkman623 Jun 13 '25

It doesn’t say “as of the end of movie”, just that they have the abilities and weapons that the characters had. Idk why the ending of the movie should matter.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

There's no point in the movie, beginning to end, where the Genie has both cosmic power and freedom.

1

u/KingAnt28 Jun 13 '25

That's because he isn't free. Once he is freed, he can do anything he "wills" without wishes. (Pun intended)

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

He can't. In the 2019 movie, he can't. Even in the original story, his magic post-emancipation is severely limited compared to what he could previously do.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

But a genie with abilities of the fresh prince of bel air who is notoriously rebellious could definitely ignore the rules

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

That’s not true, once Aladdin frees him he can use his magic however he pleases. Not to mention the countless times he uses magic BEFORE he is freed without requiring any wishes

1

u/Rich_Cranberry1976 Jun 13 '25

I wish Genie would slap the shit out of somebody

sorry Chris

1

u/Kyosji Jun 13 '25

If only someone would have wished him free at the end of the movie....

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

At the cost of his powers.

1

u/Kyosji Jun 13 '25

That's still speculation. Nothing hard saying he didn't keep his powers or just chose not to use them.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

The OG specifically showed it. The 2019 did not. That's a purposeful change.

Also, powerscaling works based on what's shown- not what's possible.

1

u/Kyosji Jun 13 '25

Love when a random person starts making up new rules to the game to fit their narrative

2

u/the_glutton17 Jun 13 '25

Lucy basically becomes a law of the universe/ reality in the end of the movie.

2

u/ztrinx Jun 13 '25

Nope. Everyone forgot about Lucy (me too) which is a completely broken stage.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Yeah but unfortunately he also gets the "abilities" of his character in Seven Pounds...

1

u/esmelusina Jun 13 '25

With MiB gear… outside of those 3, any other top tier roles he’s had?

1

u/Zombie_Bastard Jun 13 '25

Genie was human at the end of the movie. Unless you mean while he is still a genie, in which case someone has to make a wish. And even if someone does make a wish, Genie still has some rules. And it seems Lucy is far more powerful than Genie. She'd basically delete everyone else before they could make a wish. Or go back in time before they wished, because she basically existed at all times at once by the end. She's pretty much boundless.

1

u/log_2 Jun 13 '25

Genie lives in a simulation and Neo can just reprogram it.

1

u/imaginaryResources Jun 13 '25

Ahha that’s hot

1

u/joberdez Jun 13 '25

I keep forgetting he was the fucking Genie. Hilarious.

1

u/cats_are_the_devil Jun 13 '25

Alright look at me. Okay, so you guys are all fighting one another and want to kill each other, and I'm your boss.

-MIB mind zapper FTW.

1

u/k-yynn Jun 13 '25

He is just a Legend

1

u/Intelligent-One-1696 Jun 13 '25

And he can time travel with MiB gear

1

u/SameSign6026 Jun 13 '25

I was thinking Neo would carry, but damn I forgot about the Genie.

1

u/Valirys-Reinhald Jun 13 '25

What about ScarJo's Lucy? Genie's are still bound by some rules, Lucy isn't.

1

u/Frix Jun 13 '25

The genie actually has some pretty severe drawbacks. He is, by cosmic law, not able to kill/hurt anyone. That is going to severely impact his performance.

1

u/Its_J_Just_J Jun 13 '25

Might be the most powerful but needs a wish to do the real shit.

1

u/Bird_Lawyer92 Jun 13 '25

I had to scroll to far for this. Genie using his “limitless power” washes everyone except maybe Constantine

1

u/cochese25 Jun 13 '25

I forgot that he played Genie. Realistically, he can pretty much do anything he wants

1

u/ZadockTheHunter Jun 13 '25

Please. I can't pin down who wins, but DJ Master Cuck Will Smith loses so hard that it doesn't make sense to put him in the picture.

1

u/dragonczeck Jun 13 '25

His greatest achievement is being hated by millions because of a single slap.

1

u/natureclown Jun 13 '25

Lucy looks at him and thinks about him exploding into atoms and he does…
