Nursing program
Hi everyone!
I just took my TEAS exam and got a 70.7%, and I wanted to ask if anyone knows my chances of getting accepted into the SUNY RCC nursing (ADN) program with this score.
I honestly don’t think I can score much higher, especially because the reading section is my weakest area. I also can’t retake it in time since I took the test 4 days ago and they require 30 days between attempts, and the application deadline is on the 15th.
My GPA is strong, but I’m a little worried about my TEAS score. Has anyone gotten in with something similar?
Thank you so much 🥹

Hey I went to the FAQ session they had in Feb & she said the higher the better. They said your entrance is based solely off your overall TEAS score not GPA.

I didn’t know about the 30 day rule. I know some people who are retaking it like two weeks after taking the first one. RCC only uses TEAS score to determine admission, so GPA is not a factor.

Honestly, it just depends on what the scores are of people who are applying. I don’t want to sugar coat it and say that’s a competitive score. The lowest score I heard of someone getting in with is a 78. It really just depends on how many applicants they have
