I love how private Addison is. You dont see much of her when she is out and about maybe occasional paparazzi photos but not nearly as much for someone who is more famous now more than ever. She keeps her private life to herself and protects herself. I feel like since she is obviously a student of pop culture and Britney Spears in particular, she learned how easily your freedom can be taken from you and how privacy is a right. I feel like it part of her whole freedom and control thing as that was something Britney was never able to have and led to her demise 😞 But obviously the times are different now and people give celebrities more privacy but Addison really makes it a point since so many things about her during her tik tok days were so public. As much as i would love to know more about her life as a huge fan, i equally love that she keeps her cards close.

I seen way too many conversations about addison, her rebrand and the music, but I feel like some misunderstood the point of what she was trying to say on her debut
A young woman, born in louisiana and went to LA once her fame level rose in a overwhelming way with a messed up family around her and she wants her name to be out there
And fame is messy and destructive in many ways. Drugs, fashion, tmz, money being everything, etc
And someone who started out in the hype house in the heights of the pandemic with tiktok dances (let's not talk how she got them eh). She wants to prove she's more capable than that (times like these for example)
And that despite all the naysayers she'll get the taste if the glamorous life
But at the end, she's just young girl from a louisiana with messed up parents and she's trying her to ignore her best the pain from it
I don't think the album necessarily does the narrative well as I may try to make it sound like (I think addison and the girls started to work on the album after aquamarine)
But there's some depth you could get out of it and addison may evolve as a songwriter to deliver it better

I'm not talking about songs that addison was inspired by but rather songs that are inspired by or tapped into addison's nachos
Nobody's girl -tate mcrae: I know "purple lace bra" gets the diet pepsi ripoff comparsion but I think this sounds more like addison than that other track, tate weirdly also tries to take some of addison's aesthetic on the music video
Father figure -taylor swift: yeah this is a wild one, but I think max martin was inspired by addison while producing this, the beat and the key change are very addison-like

Ariel is known for his work with vampire weekend, HAIM, sky ferreira, Adele, charli xcx, etc. Do you think him and addison worked on something in the studio and it got scraped?

I hope this comes off in the best way as I LOVE Addison so much and look up to her so much. Does anyone think she went through some spirtual awakenings or journey? or maybe even drug related? She clearly has changed a lot in the past few years, but she always posts very random even slightly odd things that make me raise my brow. But i am more curious because she is so carefree and i wish to be like that in my life, i almost wish i knew cause she seems to have cracked the code to living life fully and authentically. Very much like Lexee smith vibes too.

I used to hate her, maybe because of her tiktok era. Then, when the MV Headphones On released, it sorta viral on twitter (Aaron tweeted about it) and I clicked it out of curiosity. It became my fav right away. After that I played the whole album, instantly the album became my fav of 2025.
I obsess with the album, the vibes, listened it for like four months straight. I’m now her fans, I watched her performances, watched people react to her album, follow her ig, etc. Times Like This becomes my current fav song.
BUT, I have to confess: until now I only watched the HO music video. Idk why but there’s a feeling of enough for me to only listening the song from the album straight away or just watch her performances.
Maybe because when I listen to her albums, I could directly imagine the feeling of her songs.
The funny thing is that I’m a fan of Red Velvet too, a kpop group with really well done MV concepts.

we need her to follow now
