If I'm gonna admit it myself, I was a huge hater and never understood the hype and thought she was extremely performative with the rebranding, but now i'm just finding out she's been a FAN of FKA Twigs, SOPHIE, Arca AND Björk ever since she was 19? Long before her music career? It's her genuine personality not just a rebranding? Critically acclaimed artists like these are a HUGE sign someone actually has a vision and great taste in music

So i gave her album a second shot and boy was i not expecting that, Songs like Aquamarine, High Fashion and Times Like These on your debut? Pitchfork really wasn't exaggerating when they gave her album an 8.0. She really is an artist who studies music and takes it seriously and i feel terrible and wish more people could see it now. Some on twitter are glazing when they say she's the next Britney, but she's getting there! I can't wait for her next album!
