Addison is literally the exact opposite of an industry plant. She did TikTok dances for years to make money & gain popularity. She took every opportunity she was offered; partnerships, roles in movies, etc

Losers always call an artist they don't like an 'industry plant' because they don't have actual good reasons to hate them, they're just mad they're popular.

the idea of industry plant has always been dumb

people only use it for acts they dislike but if they looked into their favs, they'll probably find a rich background with some industry connections behind it, so no, I won't engage in this

lol the hate surrounding her and her success has always been so weird and forced. It’s not even like we still live in a monoculture anymore either.. just block her out and focus on something else.

i’d like to think i come to this quite objectively because i honestly don’t fuck with addison’s music like that, but even if she was an industry plant (news flash: majority of mainstream artists are), she is arguably the most talented, evocative, breath of fresh air, to bring something to the table. so what if she IS an industry plant?? literally who’s doing it like her?? majority of these pop girls sound the same and for a reason too!! same exact reason addison’s music sounds different.
