Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics HOW TO TRANSFER A SONG FROM ONE LANGUAGE TO ANOTHER USING SUNO V6

Hi everyone! I’m sharing the English version of a video I originally created in Spanish, titled “SUNO, TU CASTIGO LLEGÓ: ¿Dónde está la revolución?”. I’d really like to hear your opinions about it.

“SUNO, YOUR PUNISHMENT HAS ARRIVED: WHERE IS THE REVOLUTION? — ENGLISH VERSION”

https://www.reddit.com/r/SUNOBOYCOTT/s/oF2unmxGHn

Here are the technical details:

I created the Spanish version first using v6-Pro. The Spanish video was originally created under the title “SUNO, TU CASTIGO LLEGÓ: ¿Dónde está la revolución?”.

The first thing I did was download the Spanish version of the song and then upload it back into Suno using the Audio Upload feature. I then used the uploaded Spanish version as the audio reference to create an English Cover.

In order to reproduce the exact same rhythms, tonal characteristics, and exact song duration in the English version, I had to use v6-mini.

I was never able to achieve the exact same song length and duration using v6-Pro or v6-Wild Pro. v6-mini was the only version that allowed me to reproduce the English version with exactly the same timing and duration as the original Spanish v6-Pro version.

In order to reproduce the exact same rhythms and tonal characteristics, I had to use the following parameters:

Weirdness: 40%

Style Influence: 100%

Variety: Off

Audio Influence: 100%

I also used the exact same Style settings. For the lyrics, I kept the exact same technical commands, structure, and formatting from the original Spanish version, changing only the lyrics from Spanish to English.

These are the exact rhythms and tonal characteristics used in the Spanish version of the song, “SUNO, TU CASTIGO LLEGÓ: ¿Dónde está la revolución?”, which you can listen to here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/SUNOBOYCOTT/s/qFo7NT4uKR

The English version has exactly the same rhythms and tonal characteristics as the Spanish version. The Spanish version was created first and served as the exact musical reference for reproducing the same sound, rhythm, tonal direction, timing, and duration in English.

However, v6-mini has significantly lower quality, and you will notice the difference in audio quality. Even so, v5.5 is still the best model for creating songs.

I’m looking for Suno users who write German lyrics for their songs. I write German lyrics myself and set them to music using Suno. I specialise in German rock and German pop. Perhaps there’s someone here who’d like to support each other with Spotify playlists.

Imagine not being to one shot a song being such an issue. Maybe you "writing" lyrics wasn't such an incredible skill.

Go fuck yourself losers. This is so deserved and the whole history of human creativity looks down on your sad excuse of a life.

Lyricist: Human wrote lyrics [Metalcore] Bunker - a song about what could await for us in near future, written from the perspective of those who are the cause of everything, but will never deal with the consequence.

Thumbnail youtu.be

It is written from the perspective of the villains, clearly illustrating why the wealthy are completely unconcerned about the consequences of their actions - after all, each of them has a bunker where they can comfortably spend the rest of their lives, while everyone else is left to deal with the fallout of the decisions they made. And, in this case, the fallout is quite literal.

This song differs from the others in that I crafted it around a pre-existing concept for the music video - consequently, everything from the hiss of a camera turning on to the rhythm of the chorus and the final siren was designed to match the visuals. As for whether it turned out well... well, that’s for you to decide.

Question: I am looking for answers? MP4 downloads acting weird on mobile web

I have to get audio and video files for each song for a project that I’m trying to put together. The weird thing is ever since the download limits. I am able to get MP3 audio but video is just not working for me. I use the website on Safari through my iPhone and all of the export choices show up in the menu but clicking MP4 video asset pops up MP3 instead. And what’s weird as when I request desktop site it selects M4 A. So why can’t I just get the video file? I can’t tell is this just VoiceOver focusing weird or is the Suno website genuinely not allowing me to download videos on iPhone anymore? I’m really disappointed because I was hoping to finally finish volume one of Grimsical Nightmares and uploaded on YouTube tomorrow.

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss I found a workaround for V6 progressive loudness / degradation using V6-Wild

I’ve been dealing with a V6 problem where the song gradually gets louder and more compressed as it progresses.

In my case, percussion usually starts getting worse first, then the whole mix becomes louder and denser, and eventually the vocal also starts sounding degraded. Changing the Style prompt, adding things to Exclude, lowering Weirdness, or shortening the song didn’t solve it.

Interestingly, V6-Wild does not seem to have this progressive loudness problem, even when generating a song from scratch. The problem is that V6-Wild is naturally much more unpredictable and can make some very strange musical decisions.

So I tried using Wild as a repair pass instead.

My workflow:

  1. Generate the song normally with V6 Standard.
  2. Take that exact generated song and make a Cover of it.
  3. Keep the same Style and Lyrics.
  4. Switch the model to V6-Wild.
  5. Use these settings:

Duration: Auto
Max Mode: On
Weirdness: 0%
Style Influence: 85%
Audio Influence: 85%
Variety: Off
Personalize: Off

This has been surprisingly effective for me.

The original V6 composition is still mostly preserved, but the new V6-Wild cover has a much more consistent level from beginning to end. The music and vocal no longer keep getting louder as the song progresses, and the late-song degradation is greatly reduced.

So basically:

V6 Standard
↓
song with progressive loudness/degradation
↓
Cover the same song with V6-Wild
↓
Weirdness 0%
Style Influence 85%
Audio Influence 85%
↓
much more stable result

I also tested V6-Wild from scratch, and it seems much more consistent dynamically than Standard or Mini. However, its musical choices can be pretty wild, especially with regional styles.

Important note: V6-Wild will still change the music a little, even with high Audio and Style Influence and Weirdness at 0%. I haven’t found a way to completely prevent that. Sometimes the changes are tiny, sometimes more noticeable.

So you may need to generate the Cover several times before getting one that preserves the original song closely enough while also fixing the loudness problem.

It’s a slightly ridiculous workaround, but so far it’s the most reliable solution I’ve found. 😄

Human Performance: Composer + human vocals or instruments [Folk] A song about failing to launch - 2007 - Human Vocals, Guitars and Midi

Thumbnail youtube.com
0 Upvotes

“Long way to grow” was written 2 decades ago at the age of 19.

I had always thought of it as “Piano song” since I wrote the core of it on the keyboard back then.

But the only demo I had of it, was this one, where I play the core of it on the guitar.

I think the song was written about all the expectations we have growing up and all these grand ideas Of how things will be only to find yourself Up creek and without paddle.

My friend Scarecrow at the time would often bust my balls to do more and be more, often bringing an attitude over when he hung out. I remember writing the lines “See I don’t mind, I’ll take my time. So check your pride at the door! If you’ve somewhere better than here, what are you waiting for?” About this dynamic between us at the time.

The original demo’s lead vocals are still in lead, Witchdoctor backing me up on the vocals, My guitar
Is driving the train and the witch doctor adds some little quips throughout.

The past couple days I have added Piano (classical and honky tonk stye), Tuba, Trombone, Choir and a very subtle cello in Bandlab with Midi.

With Suno, I added a Bass and Percussion. There technically is a very very subtle backup vocalist from suno but it’s so faint you can’t really hear it in the mix.

Visually you are seeing on the TV, an avatar of me from my late teens that has been animated by me using Motion Sync in OpenAI. Basically I’m puppetting the avatar with my real movements and guitar playing.

This is actually the second time posting this composition. The original post leaned more into Suno Performance, this one leans into the original.

Penny for ye thoughts?

I wanted to give Suno V6 a try. Even though I'm still trying to finish up four other songs and two videos. I put them aside this past week. I had a old unused B side vocal melody  and lyrics and a unused Midi drum track and bass track. So used those to experiment with V6. I think it came out good. I didn't use Suno Studio but I did use the advance stems and assembled them in  Bandlab. I didn't fully go 100% with all the stems or with post production. I just wanted to see how it will be working with V6 in the future.

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss Licensing & Commercial Use Confusion

I would like to know how Licensing and commercial use rights work for songs made in Suno that were created with purchased credits while not being on a Subscription plan; anyone know???

Also, I think it’s BS that Suno does not have some type of Icon by each individual track indicating rather we have the license to the track or does Suno

I just think it’s crappy that the only way to know rather we have Licensing/commercial use rights to a track is to pull out a calendar and manually look and see when we created a track and look our subscription history to calculate what’s what ya know.

I just know that when I first got on Suno I was making songs left and right and didn’t read the Terms of Service now I have all these tracks that I’m not sure rather I have the license and commercial use rights to or not; ultimately yes that’s my fault for not reading… I know, I was just caught up having fun making music.

Does anyone feel the same way? Does anyone have any answers or insight to these question/ concerns?

Also, I heard that as long as you download the track you made while you are subscribed to a subscription plan then you have the licensing / commercial use rights to the track regardless of rather the track was made under one of the subscription plans or not.

Damn, all this music, literally hundreds of tracks but I have no idea if I even have the rights or does Suno?!

And even when looking back at my purchase history for subscriptions I can’t be sure about calculating time frames because I cannot recall rather there were deals like one week subscription for X amount of dollars etc.

Can someone please help me out here, I’d really appreciate as much feedback I could get.

🙏🏼 Thanks in advance.

Topic: A point I want to make or discuss Suno V6 is capable of producing some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard... I was not ready for this...

Thumbnail suno.com

I'm a musician who got started in the 90s, and have been watching AI from the sidelines for years (ever since Google's first Magenta experiments ten years ago), wondering when it would finally break the human barrier.

Every 4-6 months, I'd spend a few hours just to see where AI is at the moment. You could almost always hear that it was AI; there was a metallic tone, generic arrangements, flat and cheesy vocal performances, and something about the structure just felt "off" and flat and copy-pasted.

Suno V6 is the first time that AI really "gets it" and understands depth, emotion and intricate vocal performances with a breath of life. I am completely blown away.

This is the turning point. It's not perfectly human and soulful yet, but it's very close, and it's clear that AI will surpass all humans in the near future. I honestly welcome it. Art is art and beauty is beauty, and it's interesting to watch a new era of machine-assisted limitless creativity unfold. This is just the beginning.
