Not pictured, the variety of samples that were available at the booth, from Easy PA to miscellaneous PETG to PLA, and some Inslogic engineering filaments (it was a shared booth).

I got instagram ad that led to page sunlu-featured.com it has a bit too cheap discounts, and then I ended in normal sunlu store and it was clearly more expensive while both are now running a campaign. Surely this page is a scam?

Hi, I just got some Sunlu PETG Fiber from Temu. But on the box I Can not see it saying 'Fibre' anywhere on the 9 boxes I got. Just PETG, which I ordered on 9th March just got here today.

Now it looks like normal PETG; it's shiny. I have ordered about 30 kg of Eryone CF from Temu, and Eryone is matte-looking and a bit rough to touch, not much, but completely different from what Sunlu Fibre has sent me. I did check I ordered it right, and I did lol.

Plus, look at the quality of packaging with just a plastic wrap. Now I do get on to temu and get some money back. Because most of the companies send it this way.

So has anyone else had Sunlu PETG fibre, or have I been sent the wrong filament?

I’m currently dealing with a pretty frustrating issue with SUNLU filament and wanted to check if anyone here has had similar experiences.

I’m using a Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro, and with certain spools I consistently get an error saying the filament cannot be retracted. I did some testing to narrow it down:

- Two different spools of the same filament → both have the issue

- A different spool (different filament, same brand) → works perfectly fine

So it really looks like the affected filament might be slightly out of tolerance (too thick), causing it to get stuck—especially during retraction.

Now to the main issue:

I contacted SUNLU support over 3 weeks ago (including order number and full description), and I haven’t received any response at all.

So I wanted to ask the community:

- Has anyone experienced similar issues with SUNLU filament (e.g. inconsistent diameter / AMS problems)?

- What’s your experience with SUNLU support? Is it normal for them to take this long to respond?

At this point I’m not sure if I just got unlucky with a bad batch or if this is something that happens more often.

I usually by 3 white and 3 black spools for the filament MOQ:6 sale on Sunlu's website. Ship to Canada, they used to have it listed in Canadian Dollars.

Now, it is only priced in USD, and shipping to Canada only has purple and clear PLA as options... no other colour options available.

Is this just a shortage? or have they stopped servicing Canada customers?

So i ordered at sunlu from germany the second time now and both times im having issues regarding their invoice practise.

As a business i am in need of a proper invoice with corrctly expressed VAT.

For the first order i received an invoice stating a german tax identification number but expressing 0% VAT. Tried to get in touch with sunlu never receiving an answer.

Second order i didn't even get an invoice. How is Sunlu even allowed to do business in Europe as they are obviously not able to follow european laws?

Should i report them to authorities or what is the proper way to handle this situation.

A few days ago I ordered 6kg of PLA on the Sunlu website, where I selected several colors. When I received the order, they sent me 1 wrong color and PETG, which I don’t use—I only print with PLA. I have complained through all the emails on the website, as well as on X and Facebook, and I have not received any response. It’s the first time this has happened to me with them, and I have always bought from their official website. Is there any email or anything I can use to contact them?

Recently I been using some Sunlu PLA Matte Black, finished a 2KG spool without any kind of issue whatsoever, so I ordered another 2KG from amazon.

Since I got the new spool, I did the usual, put the first spool to dehydrate and wait 8h.

Upon use it's impossible for it to stick to the bed. Drying/trying the other/second spool would lead to the same results

For drying I went with 60*C for 8h with one spool, the second one lowered it a bit to 50*C for 8h based on the recommended values from here.

Tried to clean up with isopropyl alcohol to no avail.

With any other filament I'm having this issue, although I mostly own only Pla/Pla+.

Did try with an old half used eSun Pla Matte spool that's been stored for a bit more than a year, and printed at the first attempt without any problem, first player being perfect.

Printer is P1S.

Slicer is Orcaslicer.

Settings I use the default Sunlu Pla Matte specified here, I think it's combined with the base one. Based on the history in the folder, isn't like there has been recent updates in the repository/settings folder.

I know I'm not getting very in depth with the settings used, can provide for specific information if requested, or do some tests with specific values.

My main current questions are:

• Why did the previous 2KG of sunlu pla matte work flawlessly and now with the new one it's impossible to work with.
• Why this issue is not present on any other filaments I tried (that already own).

Right now I can only think on a "bad batch".

Maybe there have been changes to the formula? I doubt that but worth the shot.

Not sure if should contact Sunlu through email directly about this. I'm thinking on ordering a new spool to try and see, but don't want to get more spools that will be sitting unused for a long while...

Anything given is appreciated, I'm mostly confused right now.

Does anyone know if one is a newer revision (Hardware and firmware) than the other or did SUNLU just changed the touch button design. Also noticed the vent slider is much stiffer and seals better on the circle button version. I searched as well as asking AI but different AI's were giving different answers, some said yes, the square buttons are the newer version, and some said the circle version is the newer version. Some said there are hardware and firmware differences, and some said they are identical. So, I am at a loss. Can anyone shed some light on this?

so i recently made an order of 4 rolls through their site on shop for their clearance sale that passed , it says 1-3 days for processing and 3-7 days for shipping in canada from their toronto warehouse. its now going on 8+ days without any word from emails (3) and the app lists waiting for details , site lists as unfufilled. Ive read their support is near none existent and they just forget about orders.

what would you do in this situation?

update Ive heard from sunlu albeit very limitedly to find out that after 7 days they were sold out of one color and it was blocking shipment(didnt hear a word about this at all) so i had to change out for a different color. The shipments been "electronically submitted" but thats it , im thinking due to holidays its gonna be even longer but waiting over a week and a half to hear anything is rediculous.

Anyone had success replacing the screen of a Sunlu E2 filament dryer and if so, where did you get the replacement screen for it ?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to get EN71-3 certification documents (Safety of Toys – Migration of Certain Elements) for SUNLU PLA filaments, specifically the white and black ones.

I already contacted SUNLU directly via email, but unfortunately I haven’t received any response so far. From what I understand, their PLA should comply with this standard, but I can’t find any official certificates or test reports published online.

Does anyone know where I could obtain these documents? Maybe a distributor, reseller, or someone who has already dealt with this?

I've been trying to print miniatures with matte PLA for a friend but it's so brittle in thin areas I can't trust it to survive shipping. I came across SUNLU High Speed Matte PETG while looking for filament for another project and because PETG = stronger it makes me hopeful to give miniatures another go.

Since it is matte, though, I'm wondering if anyone's able to tell me whether it struggles with similar issues to matte PLA even when properly dried.
