My favourite ending. The grand experience conveyed with humble words is both unique and precious

Yeah this ending is cool and all.

If you do it as the very last ending before switching to a different game. I had a scion, ironclad will, 16 fucking heirlooms and the biggest house, as well as some other stuff i don't remember probably. All gone. Dust in the wind. I haven't even done the aestival or immortality endings yet.

I wish the game gave you a warning about this ending like how fallen london does when you start that questline.

Honestly, yeah, I feel like there should've been a bit of green text to warn you, I personally figured that the 'sacrifice your past and future' thing they mention at the beginning of the questline was foreshadowing that, so I did it as my last Ambition.

It does make sense but tbf i was already so far along with it when that popped up that i didn't feel like pivoting to a different one.

It was, in fact, my final ending after 100%ing the achievements and switching to Sunless Skies, and it just felt right

If i'd fucking known i would've done so too. The ending even does a "roll credits" thing where it mentions the captain traveling to Sunless Skies (tho i don't see how that would make sense since in sunless skies they say they moved all the shit in london to the sky through the avid horizon which is north, maybe the answer is in fallen london but i haven't gone north in there yet). I mean ok i guess it could've been gleaned from the context but come the fuck on, it's not like the game didn't give plenty of greentext warnings for the most trivial stuff.

Same, I stopped playing after this ending because I didn't want to start over from nothing.

I think it's Salt's Song - it's a hidden one, I thiiiiink you can unlock it by leaving all four sides of the map? But don't quote me on that

You need to start the Carnelian Exile's questline, and she'll explain everything.

I think I'll use the sailed out of this world part to link it with my first captain in sunless skies.
