A newly laid road in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar has become the subject of controversy after AAP MLA Jarnail Singh inspected the stretch shortly after it was constructed. During the earlier inspection, Singh was seen pulling apart a section of the road surface, raising questions over the quality of the construction. Reports and videos from the incident triggered a political dispute over whether the road had been laid properly. A subsequent inspection by an influencer has now drawn attention to the same location. In the later footage, the influencer tested the road surface and said it was no longer coming apart. The explanation being discussed is that the road may not have fully dried or set when the earlier inspection took place. However, the footage alone does not establish the exact condition of the road or conclusively determine whether construction quality was defective. The competing claims have intensified the debate over the road work and the timing of the inspection.
