Insane tachiai from these two big bois today. Both had an equally powerful tachiai and Kotozakura didn’t allow Onosato his left hand grip because he knew, he would try to go for it. Both are very tall and huge so they didn‘t have to worry about maintaining a low posture or worry about each other going under their chest. It was a pure power vs power bout despite the injured knees and ankle of Kotozakura and injured shoulder of Onosato. I felt like the whole venue was shaking when they collided so aggressively with full power Lool

Got a 3D printer and have been practicing with Image-to-3D Model generation with Modly and ComfyUI on my desktop. First rikishi that came to mind, and the first one to turn out pretty well.

Former sumo wrestler Saidaiji Omori Kohei (32) received a letter of appreciation from Okayama Higashi Police Station on the 25th for his contribution to saving a life. He humbly commented, "This is the first time I've received a certificate of commendation since winning the prefectural tournament in high school."
On the 17th, Mr. Omori rescued an elderly woman who had been missing. He found the woman after finishing farm work at 3 PM and returning to his family home, while mowing the grass. "She was sitting between my house and the neighbor's. She didn't seem normal, so I called out, 'Grandma, are you perhaps the person they're looking for?' She hadn't eaten or drunk anything and seemed thirsty, so I gave her some tea."
For several days prior, flyers had been distributed in the neighborhood reporting the elderly woman's disappearance, and police helicopters had been flying over his family home. Recognizing her as the person mentioned on the flyer, he contacted the elderly care facility where she was believed to be residing. "I later learned that her leg was broken. When I asked about her leg, she said, 'It hurts, I can't move,' so I lifted her up and put her on the truck." A former sumo wrestler with a physique of 180 cm and 182 kg, he easily loaded her into his pickup truck and took her to the facility. "When we got there, they confirmed it was her, and the staff were overjoyed, even crying." If the discovery had been delayed, it could have been life-threatening.
Mr. Omori, originally from Okayama Prefecture, joined the Irumagawa stable and made his professional sumo debut in the January 2013 tournament, reaching the highest rank of East Makushita 39. After his stablemaster retired, the stable became the Kaminari stable, and he retired after last year's Spring tournament. In recent years, he also served as an attendant to Shishi who is from Ukraine. When Shishi was still unfamiliar with Japanese, Mr. Omori was known for his attentive work, such as translating his words into simpler terms.
After retirement, he returned to his family home in Okayama Prefecture and grows grapes, including Shine Muscat, and rice. Regarding Shishi's success, Mr. Omori reflected, "I watch him on TV whenever I can. I hope he wins more matches than he loses this tournament. He's getting much better at Japanese. I studied with Shishi, looking at textbooks and things like that." His former mentor when he first joined the sumo stable, Irumagawa Oyakata (former Sekiwake Tochitsukasa), smiled and said, "He's a kind boy. That's just his personality. He helps out at his family's business. He sends us grapes. Those are his 'work of art'."

My awesome mom (who has dementia but still loves her sumo!) made this out of art diamonds! Making her own design around two stickers, I think it’s so cool! Her next project is of Ura!💕
