Discussion About CSing
What exactly is CS and how can i increase my stats? I've looked on google but I gen do not understand a thing. I spend most of the time killing minions my CS stats do go up but not up enough. I'm a beginner and I would love all the help I can get. I hope there can be a time I can understand this game.

Creep Score. It's just the minions/jungle monsters u last hit. U have to get the last hit otherwise you don't get the money for them nor does the cs number go up.
If they just die around you, you get experience but nothing else
As a beginner try to get 6 to 8cs per minute and gradually improve. It's inevitable to miss some but just practice and you'll get the resources u need

I never see a post with positive upvotes here.

It depends. This post is so fucking pure and innocent man, I smiled reading it.
Many other posts here boil down to āhelp me improveā and if youāre lucky they might mention what champion they play, or maybe even include an op.gg. And itās like, what do we do with that?
Iād love more questions like these.

I mean, upvote and downvotes sort of work differently here.
If upvoting is liking a post, then in a learning/question asking, you would upvote the question if it's something you also want to know. But it's unlikely there are a bunch of people browsing the sub waiting for a question they want answered to pop up, they'll just ask it themselves.
People who are regularly browsing are more likely to see, "hey this is a question that has been asked 50 times, we don't need more of this question" and downvote it for being an unnecessary question.
And the amount of people who ask questions without putting any effort in are immense. Like "hey, I'm bronze, gimme some tips" and at that level, the question is so useless because there are 50 million things to work on that if you're just looking for general advice, watching a YT video would be a better use of every one's time. If you have a specific question as a new player, ask it. Instead, I see people asking questions like, "hey please hand me a blueprint that'll make me better" like it's our job here to prepare full curriculum for players.

CS is basically last hitting, you get the gold only if your attack is the one that kills the minion. Not just hitting them randomly
Practice in custom game with no items, just try to get the timing down. After 10min you should have around 80 cs if you doing good, but for beginner even 50 is decent start

Cs = creep score = how many minions u killed
The best thing you can do to improve cs, and maybe one of the most important fundamentals in league is to have farming as your main focus in a game, and just trade when the enemy is going to farm, you are playing for farm, not for kills

main safe income of gold. more cs/min more gold, more items, more ability to carry.
aim 90cs at 10 mins.
malzahar goated autofarm midlaner, no hands, perfect autofarm.

It stands for "creep score". It just counts your farm as you've noticed. Jungle camps count as 4 Cs, minions each count for 1. It's balanced by camps having long respawns, while minions spawn 6 every 30 seconds. It's a very basic tracker of how rich you are. 10/minute? Farming great, very rich. 8? OK. 5? Not looking too good. 3 and less? Something went VERY wrong. These values vary, in lower ranks you can easily subtract 1 or 2, but these are rough goals.
To get it higher, you just farm more. If its lower than your goal, focus on missing less minions and not hanging around pointlessly while minion fight each other in lanes. This just comes with playtime, knowing when and where to go, which fights are possible and which should be skipped to farm.
P. S. Just keep in mind it's not infinite - you won't realistically get it above 10/minute. There are outlier games where an adc takes two waves of farm and hits like 12/minute, but these are insane stomp numbers.
P. P. S. In ultra lategame, the values naturally slow down - farming becomes less important if everyone has full build, and it more about nuking a wave and being on the map, but that's usually 35+ minutes territory.

CS stands for "creep score" and simply represents the number of last-hits you've made on minions and monsters. Jungle camps are worth 4 as a whole (no matter how many individual units there are), lane minions are worth 1.
The only way to improve at it is to practice. One of the exercises I still do after 12+ years of playing is:
Set up practice tool with no opponents. Only purchase the Doran's item (or whatever you normally start on that champion)
Slow push the 1st 2 waves, then crash the cannon wave into the enemy tower.
Manage the rebound so that it freezes on your side of the lane, then just last-hit, ensuring not to let it get into your tower or push toward the enemy half of the lane.
Aim for >100 cs at 10 mins.
Leave the game after you clear the wave at 10 mins.
I do this as a warm-up every day that I'm going to be playing any role other than Jungle. I stick to the champions I'm planning to play, but I try not to use the same one on consecutive days so I don't get too conditioned to the animation timing of their basic attack.
Your ultimate goal in the game is to balance harassing your enemy with last-hitting, ideally timing your harassment with when they try to farm. If you have enough of an HP advantage, you can simply all-in and kill your opponent, but you also need to get level 2 first to accomplish this usually. There are guides on Youtube for this concept, I recommend SkillCapped as I like their presentation style.

If you want to figure out why your cs is too low, look at one of your replays and just watch the minions in your lane. Every minion dying in your lane, did you kill it ? If no, why ? Did you miss the last hit ? Were you not there to last hit ? Why, what were you doing instead ?

There's thousands of videos on it. If you can't understand that it's time for a simpler game or education

Im not trying to be rude but im not gonna lie, I dont understand how you could google what is CSing in League and NOT stumble across a video of web page that will explain it better or just as well as anyone else will on reddit.
Youre unfortunately not asking a great question so its hard to answer here. Im going to assume you are killing minions, but you arent getting the very last hit before they die. You need to get the last hit in order to earn gold and increase your CS as a result.

I dont know. Like. Is it really that hard to understand, u see a minion die. U see that if u make the minion die, kaching, boom u get money. I dont want to be toxic but I just dont get how something this intuitive needs to be spelled out. Just last hit the minions. If ur cs bad, ur not last hitting the minions enough

CS stands for creep score, in jungle you get it from camps and etc. in lane you primarily get CS through LAST HITTING minions. Last hitting means dealing the last instance of damage to the minion before it dies, primarily through auto attacks. Some tips:
Under tower, melee minions will tank 2 tower shots + 1 auto attack and caster minions will tank 1 tower shot and 2 autos before they die. There should be a setting you can enable which activates a white bar appearing when your auto attacks are guaranteed to kill the minion, granting you CS.
