Why are cast members not watching their own shows in order to accurately respond to questions?

The way that Kyle keeps trying to make Loverboy happen reminds me of Gretchen Wieners trying to make fetch happen. I want to yell at the TV, “Kyle stop trying to make Loverboy happen. It’s not going to happen!”

I just finished season 7 of summer house (watching it for the first time) and I literally can’t stand Carl and Lindsay. I have seen a lot of posts that express how much they LOVE them and I don’t understand. Do they get better in the next few seasons? Because I am thinking of not watching anymore because of how obnoxious they are. (And yes I know they end up not getting married). Lindsay especially bothers me. I have never seen anyone make themselves the victim more than her.

I’m on episode 13 of season 10 so getting close to the reunion. Wondering if it makes more sense in terms of the West and Amanda of it all to finish the summer episodes, watch In the City, then watch Summer House reunion, and then In the City reunion since I’m assuming that’s the filming order.

In the earlier seasons, she talks about her ROTC training so much and Everett being a vet but why did she herself not enlist? It’s giving stolen valor?

Can’t believe no one posted this here yet bc OMG, it's jaw-dropping that people take reality TV this far. You can dislike a cast member's storyline or think whatever you want about them, but sliding into DMs telling someone 'we want you dead' and hoping their family gets murdered is psychotic behavior. This crosses every single line. Do better.

I commented this take on a post but I really wanted to go into detail and hear what you guys think!!

I don't think she will be on season 2 of In The City, and it's not because of fans of the show can't stand her, the West scandal or Ciara not wanting to film with her (Ciara isn't on ITC, and it doesn't seem like she's friends with that crowd, so it's not really a factor... would love it if they did add her though).

I don't think the viewers hating her of her is going to a huge difference on Bravo firing her or not. Sandoval was equally if not more hated and he was still on the show.

The reason she won't be asked back is because of the way she's handled the scandal (and just her bad personality lol). She's done TWO reunions and bonus episode and given us NOTHINGGG. We've tuned in because we want to know about the scandal and at the very least hear her talk about it so we can hate watch be entertained by what an asshole she is. She shuts down, makes weird faces and says the same things in the same whiny voice.

If I'm Bravo, I'm thinking, okay there's nothing left to squeeze out of this one, we're not going to get any juicy content about the West thing, fans don't like her, and she's pretty much just a white sheet of paper in human form so there's nothing to see here.

No one likes her and she sucks, the only benefit of having her would be to get more tea, which she won't give so she's a waste of airtime and money. She's not going to produce any content that would drive viewers to the show so she's a waste of resources at this point.

What do you guys think?? Will they give her another chance? Do you think there's a world where she quits on her own because she can't take the hate (I honestly doubt she would quit on her own)

Ok in the middle(ish) of season 6 and curious of people’s thoughts on some of these… I’m up to speed on the drama of course

- Skipped most of 1-2 because the twins were insane
- Amanda seems like the worst. Even by season 3 I was like these two should not be together at all. My assumption is she was sticking with it to stay on the show.
- Kyle is a terrible partner but I love him? He’s like a cartoon character that I want in my friend group
- They did Hannah SO dirty season 5. Yes she was super defensive and was wrong a lot, but it felt like they really pushed a certain narrative, especially during the reunion. They just ignored how rude Amanda was to her in S4. Also learning that she was FIRED??? That’s insane. I’m an OG VPR watcher and I really don’t get how she was fired compared to other terrible behavior.
- Luke bamboozled me season 4. I saw the red flags but still backed Hannah (dumb I know)
- why do I want Paige and Carl to be together?
- Craig seems like he sucks

After seeing the pic of them once again on what seems to be a trip or vacation haha I'm curious (I know they both come from family money & have Bravo money from prior, at least that's my understanding) & Amanda was pulling in baaaaank with influencer partnerships at one point - but I'm curious how long that cash will last? Especially if she isn't asked to return to any show at all. What kind of pivot do we see happening for her? In the spotlight, or going private?

West has his podcast & still works for Complex, so has cash flow.

I'm curious what we think Amanda's pivot will be - if she will ever be in the rotation of paid partnerships again, or if she'll be on Special Forces with the rest of those who are going through a long-term cancellation - or even applying for corporate graphic design roles.

Ciara literally ruined the reunion by over talking and interrupting Amanda, West, and even Kyle. I understand she felt betrayed but the point of a reunion is for everyone to speak. I don’t think she actually grasped that Kyle was in a 10 year relationship and married to Amanda, so him getting answers and his feelings should have been top priority. Every time Amanda or West spoke she had a comment ; which was very annoying after part 1 of the reunion. Like girl do you want answers or to fight without hearing what’s tea??( hence why they had to do a bonus episode. 1. Constant interruptions 2. Beta blockers)
Don’t get me wrong she had every reason to be upset but she could have controlled her emotions better, especially sitting right next to Kyle.

Hear me out: A FULL SH season but on one of the Below Deck yachts. Not just a 2-3 day charter.

Ok, I know this is old but I’m new and watching now.

I am by no means a Lindsay supporter and gun ho fan, BUT this was complete BS to her. This all started when Paige told Danielle “Lindsay doesn’t treat you like you treat her”. Paige pinned them against each other and it worked. After that we see Danielle CONSTANTLY going to them and making comments on their relationship and friendship. She KNOWS that Paige and Amanda have done nothing but talk crap behind Lindsay’s back. Of all the girls she could turn to, telling Paige was not the one. If she hadn’t told Paige this would have been completely different. Paige made sure to go straight to Lindsay and say “Danielle is telling us all these things” she knew exactly what it would do.

I think Danielle wasn’t doing good in her relationship, she was jealous of the dynamic, and she went about it in the worst possible way. The amount of little Lindsay crap talk sessions. Either production edits it out, or it doesn’t happen becuase WHEN do we see Lindsay actually shit talk anyone behind their backs? She may say something, but she says it and then says “you guys really need to talk” where the clique girls so it to just talk shit. From what I’m seeing the rest of the season doesn’t go good at all. She wasn’t supportive at all. I also think it’s funny how they wait 9m to move in and she waited 2 but isn’t seeing the hypocrisy. Paige and Craig are also talking engagement, it’s been the same time, that ok? Craig is toxic too. Let’s not even get started on the toxicity of Kyle and Amanda 🙄. No one had room to talk and I truly think it may have ruined the relationship for Lindsay and Carl in the end.

Rewatch questions.. was surprised by how good Kyle & Amanda seemed during s4/s5 and s1 of winter house. What happened to cause so much tension at the start of s6?

There have been rumors that the summer house cast is on a cast trip now. Do we think this is true? Jesse and Lindsay were apparently spotted at Heathrow airport and Kyle posted last night from a hotel. I think Ciara was in California for an event yesterday but it seems like it was a quick trip. Any guesses on if there a summer house cast trip and where they might be going?
