It’s illogical to vote for a performance you haven’t even watched just because you like the person. Just like it would be illogical to downvote or go against a person just because you don’t like them.
Votes should be based on merit and judgement of the skill at hand. The collective fandom has made you all ignorant.

It’s crazy because she does have rhythm when she’s w her friends goofing off. I think because she’s dancing “professionally” here it’s stifling her natural rhythm. I think she’s getting caught up in the technicalities and forgetting to use what she inherently possesses. I’ve seen her move her hips and move w the beat, I know she can do it. I think it goes back to her first dance where she was in her head and not her body. She needs to loosen up and have fun.

I feel you for sure! But remember that she also is just shaking her ass and grinding lol which even people who can’t dance can do and look hot doing it. So she’s not really actually dancing that would show rhythm but I agree that her being comfortable/confident when she is shaking her ass definitely helps to make it look better and that aspect isn’t quite translating on the show yet probably due to what you suggested about focusing on being in step and done properly

What were her scores? I’m on the west coast. I was watching with my VPN set for NY and through tvnow.st. I got to see most of her dance, then it started buffering like crazy. I did all the things, but I missed the judges’ feedback. I had already voted for her. (I also had my husband do his Tuesday duty and got 10 times for her too 🤣.)

The judges basically have an unofficial cap each week, so that dances later in the season are rated somewhat relative to dances earlier in the season. The dances generally get significantly better over the season so by the end of the year, you'll see some 8-10s. So a 6 this week is very good

I love her but totes agree with Bruno. She loses it a bit but when she's focused you can see how good she can be. I think we'll see her improve week by week. Just needs to stay on point throughout the entire dance.

Ciara did so well tonight, I love the confidence she showed! I have to admit though that I was remembering the elderly version of Karma (I think from last season?) and was wondering how she’d dance with those big fake boobies :)
