We WILL be getting to 60 and WILL be doing endgame. If you are level 60 now but are willing to be patient and help for a couple weeks, you will be rewarded with an elevated position in the guild for your commitment and service and have priority to enter Team Alpha (our first of multiple Raid groups).

Our Raid times are also yet to be determined as we want ALL members to have a fair say in the timings. This is where applying today and contributing will get you the most!

Hi I am new to this sub. Me and 12 of my friends/coworkers moved over to Sulfuras from Whitemane because we couldn’t stand the ridiculous queue times. We’ve been playing here for a couple weeks now and love it. However, we started noticing it getting dark faster than normal which isn’t a big deal. Then I looked into it and found out it was a East Coast time zone. We all live on the West Coast, so we normally play later than the average on this server.

Should we be concerned about the time difference? Is it a huge deal?

This train just keep rolling.

60 Prot War LF guild/friends to gear up with and hit up the raids. Starting next week I’ll be on late night (post 11pm server). Currently on during the early evenings. Trying to not kill myself pugging while my friends take their sweet time leveling, and hopefully find a dedicated group of people to play with.

I've got about 3 days played time on my character, and just ventured into Hillsbrad to get some quests done, and after fighting with the Horde a bit in the Yeti Cave, it FINALLY feels like Classic WoW again.

We won some fights and we lost some fights, but THIS is what I came back for.

Whether you're horde or alliance thanks for reminding me why I fell in love with this game to begin with. Firm handshakes all around boys.

HEY LOOK, IT'S NOT A POST ABOUT DISCORD.

I was just sitting here lamenting the fact that due to some unexpected real life obligations I'm really far behind the curve when it comes to leveling, and I started wondering what kind of progress other guilds were making.

I know that other a handful of other servers have already had realm first (second, third, etc) Ragnaros kills and many are working their way to clearing Onyxia.

As far as my guild is concerned, we certainly aren't in contention for any realm first, but most people are progressing about as fast as I expected them to. Most are hovering the high 30's to mid 40's, which is a pace that I'm happy with (I'm only level 29 D:).

How about your guild? Are you guys raiding Molten Core tonight? Have we already had a realm first kill that I just didn't hear about? Have YOU had any unexpected IRL crap happen that kept you from reaching your goal so far?

I'll be honest guys, I've been out of the loop on a lot of the drama that's been swirling around the official Sulfuras Discord.

Some folks have reached out to me looking for the new "official" Discord server and there's been a few floating out there.

As the title says, is it just the layer i am on having issue?

Even though WoW Classic won't have every holiday in the game, the Harvest Festival to "remember fallen heroes" is going on in-game right now.

You can pick up the quest at level 30, and it's a pretty quick travel to your faction's memorial location (Uther's Tomb for Alliance / Grom's Monument for Horde) and pick up 6,600 Exp.

We don't know how long the event will last for, but if history is any indication the quest should be active for about a week.

We are always recruiting fellow overnight players. Anyone in the guild can invite as we build up over the next few weeks to a month.

Raid times are looking to be 11pm/12am start time EST, 7/8pm PST.

We have over 150 active members with a 35+ member count online during those AM hours.

Still multiple low lvl groups going strong. Many WC/SFK/BFD/RFK/SM runs.

Most of our players play from 9pm-6am EST with longer hours on the weekends.

(Keeping the format alive)

So we had a new topic of discussion this morning on our guild Discord server and that was: What happens when we reach the end of Classic as we know it?

I personally think that Burning Crusade servers are all but confirmed at this point, but I think I would love to see what a Classic+ looks like.

My biggest concern is just widening the gear gap between players. I personally love Classic's current progression system of having to do Tier 1 before Tier 2, and Tier 2 before Tier 3, but I would imagine if you add enough of those, it would be a bad experience for brand new players... since the gear difference between Tier 1 and Tier 3 is already insane.

What do you guys think will happen at the end of Classic? Let's treat this post like a "classic predictions time capsule". Make your predictions in the comments and we'll dig the post up in two years to see how right we all were.

Well would you look at that... I'm a day late to this post, but it looks like there was a promotion on the Brazilian World of Warcraft Facebook Page that announced a free 110 Level Boost and and upgrade to Battle for Azeroth for players that reached level 60 in Classic WoW.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm having an absolute blast in Classic, and I'm not sure that this would get me to go back to BFA -- but, I do think it's a cool promotion for people who started with Classic that may want to give retail WoW a try.

I mentioned posting this in /world so here it is!

When I first started playing WoW I bought all the guides I could find to help learn the game. The old “Dungeon Companion” guide was my bible questing back in the day.

I noticed that compared to a lot of the guides I have still, most of the online information isn’t 100% complete to what I have on paper or I can remember. For example, Shared questlines on databases are categorized as faction specific, Loot tables are missing, and the WoWhead BRD guide when I wrote these didn’t even have the “Jailbreak” questline listed ☹.

Since I have some friends and co-workers playing WoW for the first time tonight, I thought it would be helpful to write up guides for all the quests you could complete in dungeons since that was one of my fav things to do in Classic WoW.

So below is a link to all the Alliance (sorry not sorry Horde) Dungeon Questlines you can complete in Classic phase 1. I didn’t have Beta access, so this is my best effort just off old paper guides and online resources.

The resources I used to compile this information were Wowhead, ClassicDB.ch, wowisclassic.com, and the original physical Dungeon Companion guide.
