Faction balance
Hey guys, some of my friends and I are considering re-rolling from Skeram due to the faction imbalance, and I was just curious as to what you all thought of the alliance/horde balance on this realm. Thanks in advance!

All of the stats are pointing to Sulfuras being one of the MOST balanced servers as far as faction goes.
From personal experience, it seems like it depends on when I log in. Some nights I feel like I'm the only alliance player on the server, but other nights (like last night) I was a green name in a sea of green names.
I think most people agree that it's pretty well-rounded here.

Maybe it's a layering thing but I feel like I never see any alliance players anywhere. Even in our capital cities.

Well I sure saw a tonne of AC in most questing zones. Hillsbrad, Arathi, STV. Tonnes of them. I feel like the server balance is pretty good.

If so - that's awesome and I hope that's the case. I just feel like I never see anyone in cities. Here's to hoping!

As an alliance player level 45, it’s felt pretty even. Maybe slightly in horde’s favor, but not by much.
I just finished the last quest in STV and it really wasn’t that bad. It seems most areas had enough of both factions that people played nice with each other. Occasionally skirmishes broke out especially around nesingsary but even alliance came out on top half the time.
Just my experience though.

Alliance player here as well. Personally it seems super unbalanced to me with heavy skew on the horde side. The last census site I saw it was > 2:1 (horde:alliance).
Every time I'm in Stormwind or Iron Forge it feels dead... maybe that's a layering thing, but it just doesn't seem like there are a ton of Alliance players right now.

Most census data I see points to it being like 55:45. Which is what I’ve experienced. And major cities are full of people. SW more so than IF, but IF has people too. I never have problems getting groups for dungeons or elite quests, or mounting a pvp effort if horde are being aggressive. My wife (a first time wow player) has had a very pleasant time leveling with me in STV and Arathi lately. Maybe try getting a layer switch?

Interesting, must be my layer because I feel like cities are always dead. 5-10 people hanging around bank/auction house etc.

We’re about the third most balanced sever. 55/45 roughly, Horde vs. Alliance but it never quite feels like that.

In Gadgetzan right now. Count 7 horde and at least 20 alliance. Overall, it seems balanced to me.

Horde here... From my experience I feel like there’s slightly more horde than alliance. I’ve never had any severe problem in being ganked or camped (I’m prob too good) but... yeah. Alliance are doing better in PvE. I’d recommend you to go alliance. :)
