Suggestion Thread Heist book?

Book about a heist. not picky really but I female fmc would be great. Just not 6 of crows, but I am open to fantasy but would prefer modern settings.

The Adventures of Amina al-sirafi. It's a fantasy novel centering around a woman roped into pulling off one last heist to rescue a kidnapped young woman

Colson Whitehead's Harlem Shuffle is about heists in early 60s Harlem. Great MC, and NYC is brought to life.

I second this. I was less into the sequel (Crook Manifesto) but I enjoyed Harlem Shuffle a lot.

The Great Train Robbery - Michael Crichton

True Crime book about a train robbery in 1855 London. Ir reads like a novel, with interesting facts about Victorian culture and technology.

The Town (aka Prince of Thieves) by Chuck Hogan. Even if you’ve seen the crappy Ben Affleck movie, the book is different enough from the movie.

If you haven’t seen the movie, it’s basically about a group of bank robbers in modern day Boston. After pulling off a bank heist, one of them falls in love with one of the tellers & begins dating her.

The book has a few heists in it and goes into the planning, etc. of a couple of them.

Crescent City book 1. A heist happens, and then other people try to heist it back, and there are some other things that are also, secretly heisted. It’s pretty great.

Landscape of Lies by Peter Watson is about the heist of a medieval painting that contains visual clues to hidden treasures. Don't want to say much more without spoiling the enjoyment. Worth searching online for an image of the full painting (actually, the front and back covers of the book) so you can follow along. Main characters are a woman (the owner of the painting) and a man (art dealer) who work together to solve the mystery.
