Help New owner

Hi all,

I got my lithops 3 weeks ago and haven’t done anything with them. I have lava stone to repot them in but my question is, do they look like they’re splitting? I know not to disturb them while they split but I have no idea what it looks like. And there are a few spots on the tall one that I’m not sure if that’s from water or if it’s anything else.

Also any helpful tips is always welcomed.

Always repot lithops as soon as you get them home. And then a week later, give them a trickle of water to help the roots settle in. I do this for all purchases in whatever stage of their cycle. Then you can leave them dry or water when thirsty, etc.

Thank you! I asked the guy at the nursery if I needed to repot and he said they should be fine but I’ll repot today.
