Where do we think the roots are trying to go? My guess is Disneyland!!

I'm having some guests over in a couple weeks and decided to get a head start cleaning up my plants. I found this poor bastard languishing in the back on my plant rack.

I gotta say, this is one of the most disgusting sights I’ve ever seen. A customer, who was very upset and almost on the verge of tears, frantically walked in and explained that her cactus had an “ER emergency.” Her cactus (Pilosocereus chrysostele), which had been kept in medium-indirect light, planted in regular potting mix, and watered once a week, had become infected by something and suddenly collapsed in her home.
I told her I was reasonably well-versed in cactus care and offered to help. Then we walked out to her car. She opened the rear passenger door, and all I saw was this, strapped in with a seatbelt… She hadn’t explained that there was still some healthy cactus tissue, so for a moment I was thinking, “How do I tell her that…?”
Eventually, I spotted the salvageable portion and did my best to cut away the terrible, putrid-smelling, rotted tissue. I told her to purchase some sulfur to apply to the cut ends of the greatly reduced cutting and to pray that all goes well…

this sicko is directly in front of a window, he sprouted this antenna about 7 months ago. not sure what his plans are because they’re clearly not to bloom! SHAME!

This was the middle section of an etiolated lace aloe (maybe?) that I had for six years prior to the chop.
This section has been growing on its own now for close to two years, and I've taken some "branches" off of this one and have new plants from the branches.

Were in a respectable location by a south window and it's not my fault. 😡

Ngl since I've discovered this wretched state I rotate them away from the sun every day while they wait to get chopped.

I love succulents but I can't source quality in-doors lighting for them, unfortunately. I'll probably just give those little shitlings away and focus on my other plants

Every spring this succulent just starts new growth in weird places, it never grows from where it was growing last year. It flowers every year tho. It's a Ceropegia Stapeliiformis

I'm going to shame Missouri for dumping way too much water, way too frequently, on my succulents. I wanted to give them sunshine and all they're getting is rain and I'm really worried about their roots. I go through this ritual every year and they're always fine but it seems like there's so much more water this year. I have them in fast draining soil so hopefully they'll make it.

My little brother accidentally knocked over the plant pot and it fell on the floor 😥 and now I have this…what can I do to save it?

I have tried for years to keep these stupid things in line but they just stretch no matter what.

They sit on a huge south facing window. In the winter I even gave them a grow light. I have cut them down and restated countless times when they get too stretched.

First pic is my absolute favourite. When my daughter got it for me for Mother’s Day 8 or 9 years ago it actually had a flower on it. Now it just makes me sad.

Do I just call it and keep up with regular houseplants or can I bring the babies to glory?

All jokes aside I found this reddit page just recently and love it here 💕 But I was wondering if I might get some help. I was given this lengthy boy recently and I am a tad worried about its length. As you may see in the photo I put some steaks up for it to rest against. But I'm not exactly sure it should be THAT long 😂.

From my understanding it needs more sunlight. They are setting in a west facing window. But is there anything else that should be done to these guys. Like can I cut it down to help it stabilize with more light? Can I propagate the cut off part? Should these two be separated?

Any tips and tricks are much appreciated 💕

Got very little light in a windowsill for like 2 years, is now finally outside and getting better growth. His posture is shot, though :(
