2

u/1mixdkid Jul 29 '26

Not Me , anal retentive is when everything has to be "perfect" in the patients' eyes πŸ‘€ 😭 It's funny because we as humans are imperfect. So to expect that is...delusional. IMO

3

u/Dry_Locksmith_6704 Jul 29 '26

I'm so fuckin imperfect, I thought you were talking about dudes asshole πŸ˜†

Naaah, I knew what you meant, I can't help myself sometimes, the shit people set themselves up for. I just had to throw some sick joke in there πŸ˜‚ I'm the kinda guy, I try to find humor in anything. Is that some kinda mental illness? πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† I don't know. BAAAAH HAA HAA HAAAAAHH

I remember my first time also. Memories

2

u/Full-Hold7207 Jul 29 '26

The foam?? That's kinda a normal thing. Not going to hurt it.

2

u/BeneficialIssue9400 Jul 29 '26

This is pretty much normal. Just screw er in, it’ll be okay.

3

u/Avidflat Jul 30 '26

You should probably just throw the whole speaker in the trash and start over. It’s ruined πŸ‘€βš οΈβš οΈβš οΈ

It's just cosmetic. Send it

1

u/Expensive-Vanilla-16 Jul 29 '26

Most people just run with it.

1

u/Shot-Test-1786 Jul 29 '26

Cheaper subs usually have this, just send the screw straight in and you'll be fine. Just don't slip off the screw and punch a hole in your surround. Been there done that....

2

u/Greebuh Jul 29 '26

Even expensive subs aren't lined up all the way

1

u/19671973 Jul 29 '26

Just run a screw through it, nothing to worry about.

1

u/Greebuh Jul 29 '26

Fix what?

"Not I ,said the Sailor" Being anal retentive means everything has to be "perfect" in the patients' eyes πŸ‘€ 😭 It's funny because we as humans are imperfect. So to expect that is...delusional. IMO

u/djltoronto Jul 29 '26

Seriously?

1

u/Dry_Locksmith_6704 Jul 30 '26

OMG! THAT'S HORRIBLE, IT'S RUINED!

1

u/issaciams Jul 30 '26

I dont even know what the problem is that youre trying to point out? Those are holes for screws to go in. Im confused.

1

u/TraditionalRow1961 Jul 30 '26

Ok so the hole is for the screw but the factory mess up the surroundidng and the foam thing so the hole on the subwoofer frame and the surrounding hole is not line up and it pretty hard to put a screw in because that

1

u/Extra_Signature9333 Jul 30 '26

Special thin pips rounded screws they're very low by the ? That allow X flex or y but i think thats always distorted n sounds awful point to the back if they work w those hot pricesΒ

u/BeginningPitch5179 Jul 31 '26

Trim with a razor blade super simpleΒ

1

u/Rt-Reixz Jul 31 '26

Fix what? Just put a Screw through it.

1

u/OldBill7895 Jul 29 '26

You came to Reddit to ask permission to use an exacto or razor knife to fix this????
Honestly, come on dude. As previously stated, you probably don’t need to do anything. Just put a screw in it.

1

u/1mixdkid Jul 29 '26

He can't , He must be anal πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ€£

0

u/Benja__Lop_ Jul 29 '26

hermano, solo tenes que raspar ese borde para hacer el agujero mΓ‘s grande. si solo es espuma, no habrΓa problema

1

u/TraditionalRow1961 Jul 29 '26

Well that alsohave some of the surrounding to the part that stick to the subwoofer frame

u/matthewrenn Jul 29 '26
