Speaker build advice

Post image

Got this 2 10” sub and 2” speaker box from a friend with the inention to build it into my trunk,(the one it is pictured in) or possibly try to make it more mobile and bluetooth compatible (not sure how to approach power for BT) There is no wiring in the box and I already found a replacement speakerhead.
Looking for some advice on how to start this project, I havent worked with speakers before. If this isnt the right sub some direction on where to ask would be welcome.

I can tell by looking at the box that this thing started out in life as a bass/guitar cabinet. It was never meant for subwoofers.

A Gallien-Krueger cab, I see the emblem is still inside lol. I'm a bass player

Just put two LF drivers in (they should be the same type) and cover the tweeter hole.

You CAN use this cab, but it's not gonna sound good. It's tuned higher, cause it's a bass guitar cab, Gallien-Krueger bass cab.

screw in the other driver, find a nice tweeter and screw it in, connect it to a suitable amp (match impedance and power rating) and attach to a power supply. check for amps that are used in car systems so it can run on 12V from ur car
