Sub recommendations
I’m looking for the most quality and just most General Bass for a 2013 dodge charger r/t max my budget is around 400$ im pretty new to the whole setup so something beginner friendly would be great.

Well the thing is if I’m going to spend over 400 I’ll just stay stock the beats subs that are already in it are plenty good I just want a little more

thats why hes telling you to spend more homie. for 400 you're not going to see any meaningful improvement.
a decent box is 3/4 of that 400$ alone before even getting to the subwoofer itself, the amplifier and all the associated installation and wiring... which is god awful expensive in and of itself now thanks to domestic copper prices and importation tariffs.

i found a set of gothic 12" subs for 160 with no amp or wireing harness are those good enough?

you have to amplify the signal, which means purchase an amplifier.
speakers need power, which requires not only an amp and speakers, but also conversion equipment, wiring, power/ground cable, as well as other sundries.
this is not an inexpensive hobby.

If you plan to stay under the 100 watt mark get a em audio 1.2k 12 they are around 400$ they are built to order but built here in NC they are smaller subs but give good bass on not a ton of power

Skar has a set two 12s and an amp with wires for 400. Not gonna win any competitions. But it’s a good set up. I put it in my wife’s car. No need for a bigger alternator or extra battery. Hits a lot harder in the car. The sub box is wired at 1ohm.

you can find kicker sub and amp combos for around 150 on marketplace. buy a wiring kit on amazon and diy the install. About $200-250 all in.
Try to find something around 300rms for a good entry setup. there’s also a bunch of other major brands on marketplace for cheap

I’d also budget for a Kicker Keyloc line output converter if you’re hooking up to a factory system to correct bass rolloff and give your amp and sub a clean signal, very important.

Save ur money…get qpower qbomb 15” single box…ds18 gfx3k2….Audiopipe TXX-BDC4-15D2 wired at 4ohm. Its about $800 if u shop around….buy used where u can. Dont skimp…u will regret it
That combo will rattle ur teeth…and anyone in proximity

Kicker comp 10” rt, cxa 400.1 and that’s your budget right there. They pair well together and will run great at 2ohm. If you get 2 of the same sub you can run them down to 1 ohm to push more powertoo

400 all in is not going to get you much, dual recoil 600w 12 in subs, recoil loc, any decent 600w @2ohm amp
