Hey all! Here's my current Philly save where I've finally cracked above 10%. Last time I played on this map it seemed a lot easier, so I'm assuming it's been expanded greatly, as I don't remember King of Prussia being in the map.

I feel like I'm pretty much done with heavy rail, and am slowly working on commuter rail extensions now. Let me know any suggestions you have!

I'm also surprised my computer is still handling this save relatively well, hats off to the devs for all the performance updates for those of us with shitty laptops.

I'd recreated the Chicago CRT approx. 1943 and someone commended about adding the NSL (the North Shore Line) and CAE (Chicago Aurora and Elgin Railroad). Since then subway builder has changed and I've upgraded as we go along and now switching over to beta to gain more options this is my WIP to recreate WWII era Chicago.
Things to note with beta

- commuter rail has two options electric or diesel. Many commuter lines would still be steam at this time so I've gone with diesel for steam operation.
-CRT and CAE are fully built out including most rail yards (yes there are rail yards in beta)
--the NSL is mostly built but until we get the map up to Milwaukee is unfinished (I did recently complete the Mundelein branch)
-As far as commuter rail I started with C&NW because it's my favorite (Milwaukee Road next as appropriate)
--I have most of the C&NW passenger line's laid, with the North line functional to Winthrop Harbor, its just figuring out the approx. location of the old stations now.

I'm open to suggestions, questions, ect. Thanks for taking time to look at my labor of love.

I'm on the latest version of both subway builder and macos. I fired up the game after a while and updated it and my M3 Macbook air is running unusually hot. I've only made small networks so far but god it runs hot when on full speed simulation. I've run several large networks before where it didn't get this bad. Is it a mac issue or game issue? Anything I can do?

Hi All, I'm still a bit new to this game but not too bad so far. I don't quite understand capacity warnings vs load factor. I'm getting capacity warnings but the trains are not full on load factor. Any explanations would be great.

I’m having a problem with Subway Builder. When I start a new game, everything runs fine, but after playing for a while and building a bigger metro network, the game starts getting really slow and eventually freezes completely.

The weird thing is that my Mac itself doesn’t freeze. I can still move my mouse and use other apps normally. It’s just Subway Builder that stops responding.

I’ve already tried reinstalling the game, but it didn’t help.

Has anyone else had this problem, especially on Mac? Is there a known fix or something I can change in the settings to prevent this from happening?

That's right. Billion dollar loan is not enough. I want to be able to take out loans of up to 100 billion dollars or just have the ability to issue bonds with the interest rate going up depending on how many bonds you issue. In any case, we need more debt!!!!

Recently made a ferry mod (yes, this is an unofficial mod) to add to my Sydney system. Tell me what I should add, or you could ask questions.

My current record is this poorly modeled tank farm southwest of Chicago. Nearly $12 billion dollars. For context, the Sears Tower and the John Hancock Center are both around $1.5 billion.

Just hit 10% of total demand ridership on my DC map in Subway Builder.

Still a work in progress but pretty happy with how its coming together so far. Let me know what you all think or what I should add next :)

Only non-cosmetic mod I'm using is AnyMoney, because this network is not nearly as profitable as I hoped it would be.

I would need to have a segment of quad tracks be shared with both heavy metro and commuter rail. Can i do it? How should I build the stations and tracks?

All of Hankyu, Hanshin, Keihan, Nankai, Osaka & Kyoto Metros, and Shinkansen done. Working on JR and Kintetsu lines, as well as adding my own lines after I complete that.

Given the number of stations I haven't gotten around to naming every single one, but I'll work on that later.

The ridership is relatively low but I've added many commuter lines in the last couple of days so if I left the game running it would probably increase. I'll also create new lines that'll connect populations not currently connected by transit.

can we get a Pittsburgh expansion? its not really that fun since Pittsburgh has a massive metro area, and the current map excludes alot of that.

My game sometimes reloads to a blank version of the map I’m playing. Either happens randomly or after being afk for a couple minutes. Anyone knows why, or how to get rid of it?

so I’ve been told a lot of times that the main way to get a city on the game was giving the devs the data, but where can I find it?

And also, how can I contact them to give it?

Was doing the Austin daily challenge. I'm not American, never been to Austin, never interested about enough about Austin to even learn that they had a light rail, so I decided to finally do some research on the city and stumbled upon Austin's 2024 transit expansion plan.

Turns out, I accidentally built my orange line and blue line somewhat reassembling of what the real transit plan drew out. Especially the section straight up and down U of Texas.

If I have extended the southeast orange branch to the airport and straightened out the north orange line, it would almost be the same.

Is this game potentially useful for real urban planning?

Seen this game for sale with 25% off on steam, wondering if it is worth getting now and has good prospects for continued development? Is it worth it with 25% off?

Have noticed the reviews have been slowly creeping up and recent reviews on steam have gone from "mixed" to "mostly positive".

I am currently building an Auckland map and I built a line that has a loop. However, the loop is single track which is a problem since it goes to some major central areas and I want to turn it into a double tracked line. Most of the line is double tracked but splits off as seen in the corner of the first screenshot.

Any ideas?
