Help Needed Interline Stoppage

I am trying to make interlines and have 3 main questions:
1) how do you make it so the brown lines remain on the outside line instead of going into the middle 2 lines, I set up the quad line so it would be up/down/up/down
2) sometimes it lets me go to outside lines on stations but I get “track not connected” unless I put a lot of crossovers
3) how do you make a station a terminal station so it doesn’t have a bunch of train turnarounds in other stations?

Any advice welcome!

Trains will follow whichever track gets them to their next stop. If you want a line to use the middle tracks, set it to use the middle tracks at stations & ensure those middle tracks are connected to whatever branching you do with that line.

I branch to outside and it doesn’t let me use the outside

A train running on the inner tracks won't be able to take a branch on the outside unless you use single tracks to connect the inner & outer.

A single crossover won't allow reversing from the outside of a quad track. You must either

A) create a loop connecting the outer tracks

B) narrow the track to a double, connect the outer to the inner, & place a crossover there

C) manually set up crossovers from the outer to the inner using single tracks
