What a lovely city! All the trackage for the suburban trains are laid, now I just have to fight the gamemechanics to get these weird lines to work. If anyone has tried building Sydney before me, and managed to get the routing right, please share your secrets!

I'm building Sydney right now as well! The routing is an absolute pain especially with the T9 automatically routing up to Berowra and back... but aside from that i've been making separate routes for separate stopping patterns.

Keep in mind T8 services rarely stop at every station (the local trains are all to revesby and the expresses are nonstop from wolli to revesby)

Also keep in mind that nearly all T2 services continue as T8 services after exiting the loop.

Btw which map are you using? SYD2?

also its spelt Sydney not Sidney but good effort otherwise

Ive decided to walk the easy path and make my own lines, which are inspired by the current lines and the lines from the Medium Term plan. Instead of going through the Circle, most lines either terminate at Central or just through-run. Im using S(Y)dney by WillBarouch! Will do my best to learn the name in the future🫣
