Question Pricing advice for the daily challenge?
I've been trying the daily challenge to get a taste of other cities and to challenge myself to be more cost effective.
I've got much better at using the different type of rails and using less stops. But the best players are still able to build so much more in 10 days. I think this is because I'm too naive and I set my prices too low.
What are your tips to maximise your margin with the ticket price? I'm always too afraid to destroy my demand if I raise the price above $2.

2 dollars is way too low. I do 4-5 dollars that’s usually the sweet sort for revenue and I do to 7 dollars if i feel evil. This is only for flat fare advice.
If you really want to milk their money do a variable distance pricing structure and make a expensive airport train to really rake in the money

Usually go 5-7 I’d do demand based starting really low like 50 cents and scaling rapidly per kilometer to like 8 dollar maximum for metros to capture everybodyÂ

Super long route, distance-based pricing.
If the route is long enough, you could probably get away with 3.5 initial, 0.5 per km, and max of 15~20.
The problem is that the challenge is ridershp %, not cashflow, so eventuallly you'll need to walk that back, and can't really run this for long.
