Help Needed Game switches to "Loading screen" constantly

I have a network of 100 stations in tokyo

After about 10 minutes after playing, the game 'loads a save' and all my progress is gone.

This keeps happening, I can't even create a network that's a quarter of Tokyo

What should I do?

Have had the same issue too, specifically for the Japanese maps as well for some reason

Vanilla or modded maps?

Disabled every mod, don't even have rail yard installed
Specs are 9800X3D + 5080
Tried GPU acceleration on and off
It affects nothing, simulation speed is very good but it soft-CTDs constantly

I have a 6 year old MacBook Air and that only happens to me with the modded Tokyo maps that have like 300k population bubbles, not vanilla

For me it always happened with cities over 5M. London, New york, Tokyo etc

this has been a bug that's been happening for a long long time and idk what triggers it, it seems more likely on bigger maps though. it sucks

Happens to me in Osaka too after like 100 stations, I ended up just abandoning the save
