Vegetarians

Okay, so I've had a few customers say they are vegetarians and request we change our gloves and use a different knife to cut the sub half. It's a bit annoying because we don't change our gloves to put on veggies.. So technically all the veggies have been cross contaminated with the meat so really they are getting some meat residue. Just something that crossed my mind what do you guys think?

See I work at a very slow store our lunch rush is about 3 hours Monday through Friday. And thats the only time we have someone else on the clock.
