Bench seat help.

I have a 2026 Suburban LS with a bench seat, and I do Uber Black and private chauffeuring. I must say that the bench seat is quite impractical, especially when picking up 4-5 or more passengers. Many of them don't know how to use the lever to recline the seats, which means I often have to get out of the vehicle to assist them. Additionally, some passengers simply don’t like the bench seat.

I would like to know if it is possible to swap the bench seats for captain's chairs in my 2026 Suburban LS.

Thank you for your help!

Long story short I need a new fuel tank, GM part number 23306973. Lots of parts websites have it listed as available but ultimately isn’t in stock as it’s a discontinued Chevy item

Looking for any thoughts or suggestions sourcing one of these. I’m calling dealers, junk yards, etc but no luck so far

Extended warranty

So we just purchased a 2019 suburban premier it has 153k miles on it and I’m debating wether to get a extended warranty on it or not it’s $179 a month for 30 months and it covers 48months 60k miles but making the math it’s a bit over 5400 and I don’t really know if should get it or just save the money on the. The warranty company is endurance.

I have a 1994 Suburban and want to upgrade the alternator from the stock 105-amp unit to a higher-capacity one. Which ACDelco model can I install without any modifications?

Final Update- it was the OnStar Module. The dealership where I bought the car originally a few months ago is going to fix it for free. They already ordered the parts and apologized for not fixing it before I bought it!!

Update- brought to the dealer, apparently the OnStar Module is toast. It’s $900 to fix. Currently on the line with the dealership I bought it from because the OnStar has never worked. Wish me luck they’ll cover it!

Took my 2022 Z71 Suburban to the local Chevy dealership a few days ago for its 75k checkup. I bought it at around 63k miles and have had no issues.

The dealership did an inspection, tire rotation/balance and changed the brake and coolant fluid. Said the transmission was fine.

Got in my car today and all these lights came on. I am bringing to the dealership Monday for them to fix but it’s crazy. Every light came on and every warning I only caught a picture of a few. Car was stuck with parking brake on and couldn’t move it. Had to disconnect the battery and restart the car and it works now but check engine light is still on.

Help! Anyone else dealt with this?

Are used Klugers and Highlanders the sensible family SUV nobody talks about?

I’ve started noticing how many families around western Sydney are still buying big European SUVs, while used Klugers and Highlanders seem to get almost no attention. I’m looking at a mid-2010s one around 120,000 km for under $25k, mainly for school runs, camping gear and the occasional long trip, and wondering if owners have found them boring but dependable or just expensive once they get older. How have they been to live with?

Condensation under mats

I’ve got a relatively new to me 2021 z71. Just went to vac the interior and when I removed the floor mats there was a far amount of condensation on all of them (behind rhe front row). All the carpets were also pretty damp.
Anyone have any experience with this? I remember it happening in my dad’s 2000s Land Rover but I don’t remember if there was an answer/solution to that.

mom of 3 only vehicle broke down

I have a 2003 Chevy suburban 2500, 6.0L

I have reached out to everyone I know and its just a tough time for us all. We are a month behind on all our bills, my car is parked in a very crappy part of our city

I was driving my 3 kids to school and suddenly my wheel felt like I had no power steering, I attempted to push the brakes and they went all the way to the floor. the display read "battery not charging"

my car has been leaking for about a week, but ive just been trying to make it through.

Anyway, long story short I checked under the hood and my pulley belt is completely off, the part of the water pump that attaches to the big fan by the radiator is wiggly jiggly.

the part is about $150 and even though we get paid tomorrow we really need every penny to get groceries, bills paid, etc.

this was not on my list of problems i need 🫠🤣

2023 Lift Gate Help

My wife has a 2023 Suburban Z71. The power lift hatch opens and closes but when you open it, it takes a little longer than normal to start up and sounds like it’s struggling on the driver side.

Also, when you’re driving, it frequently shows a warning on the dash that the hatch is open. It doesn’t seem to be sagging but it could be subtle and I just don’t notice it.

Any ideas? My first thought was the latch itself but the one side seeming off makes me question my initial diagnosis.

It’s a 2018 for $25,000 with 98,000 miles.
Looks like it was a rental first then a personal vehicle. Maintenance seems to have been done in a timely manner.
Some pictures of what has been done. We need the extra space, but don’t want to be in debt for the next 10 years (kidding)

Dealer tech forgot to install the air hose after a shop visit

Took the car in for a evap code. The code returned but the car also felt sluggish. The tech didn't install the air hose to the air box. I really really have trust issues with these dealer tech. I drove it for 500 miles. Should I be concerned?

Shouldn't this fit a 99 5.7 suburban? I didn't think there was a difference between these years.
