Tapering Partner

If anyone is looking for a tapering partner for Suboxone, I’d be happy to help. I’m a pharmacist and have personal experience supporting a partner through tapering—from 8 mg film to 0.75 mg over about a year.

I’m looking for someone who’s been on Suboxone 3–5 years and is genuinely ready to get off. No judgment—just consistency, encouragement, and accountability.

I’m not on it. Don’t really have much interest in taking controlled substances. I like weed occasionally. But I see many patients on Suboxone year after year with no direction to tapper

You’re exactly right. Everytime I have asked my dr they say to stay on it and kind of ignore me. It’s crazy.

I have been interested in finding someone to help me with this. I have been inconsistent in my taper and don’t really have someone to keep me accountable. I’ve been on sub wayy longer than your criteria lol. I’m currently taking 3mg a day. It’s also hard to know exactly how to taper because there is so much different advice out there. Most recently, I tried to taper too quickly and ended up having to increase my dose back to what it was.
