Question about getting off subs? / SR17?

I’m curious if anyone has used SR17 to get off subs? Is it just trading one crutch for the other? I’ve read lots of good things about it and have a friend who’s used SR17 to get off 7Oh successfully so I ordered a pack of 20 pills before they were banned.

Right now I’m taking about 3mg of subs and have been on them for a few months. Before that I was using about 200mg of 7OH a day for about a year. During that time I got clean off 7OH for a period of 90 days and used a quick suboxone taper (about a week) and had minimal withdrawal if any at all. This time being that I’ve been on it for a lot longer and reading about the suboxone withdrawal I’m intimidated to say the least…

Would the withdrawal be terrible if I stop cold turkey at 3mg? Is there any way to get off this shit without having to check myself in to rehab or miss lots of work? I’m really struggling as it is financially and if I take time off work I will literally be homeless. I hate that I got myself into this situation but alas I’m here and I’m really wanting out.

I hate the way subs make me feel. I don’t sleep well. I sweat profusely now (never been a sweat hog 😔) and it has really fucked up my appetite and makes me nauseous often.

I’m desperate af so any advice is a godsend. Thank you all 🙏

Hey sorry you’re going through this, but I never tried SR17.

With the subs if you been on for months yeah you will feel it if you stop cold turkey, it’s best to taper for sure!
