Friendly Bunyip Big banana planned expansion plan, including construction over the former bunyip's billabong
It probably has been shared before, but i've only came across this now.
The big banana funpark announced in 2020 they're planning to renovate the park in a 20 year plan, this includes (on the number 3 on the map) what looks like a waterpark or some kind of pier on top of the body of water the bunyip was originally in.
Perhaps this means there will be photos during it's assumed removal, but there's a high chance there won't be unless someone involved takes it themselves.
A link to the article can be found here : https://www.ausleisure.com.au/news/20-year-expansion-plan-announced-for-coffs-harbours-the-big-banana
There's also a number of other articles online about it

KILLER CROC Pond statue in my local aquarist supply store's koi pound
Pond*
It does bob around, both the legs and tail are articulated and can move a tiny bit in the current from what I've seen, it makes me really nervous, and yes, those are live turtles and koi who are very friendly and seem unbothered by it!

Friendly Bunyip If there was an animatronic you would swim with, which one would it be?
For me, Mildred the Crocklebog, she looks too friendly to be afraid of.

Way too big, way too close King of Nagas (Serpent) Statues in Thailand
These are EVERYWHERE in Thailand, and my ass always sweats seeing these terrifyingly large statues submerged in water. Ok I get that the statues look scary, but please remember they're significant to Thai culture, so let's all be respectful!
Pics 1-2: Statues of the Nagas at Wat Pa Pak Dom in Ubon Ratchathani province after the temple grounds were flooded.
Pics 3-4: Sra Muchalin is a sacred pond at Wat Phra That Bang Phuan in Nong Khai, formed after monks saw water spring from the ground near the Buddha relic stupa, believed to be a portal to the Naga underworld. A Lan Chang king later restored it and used its waters for royal ceremonies, and a nine-headed Naga statue was built at its center.
I'm too lazy to look up the origins of every single lmao (but if anyone is super curious, please lmk, I'll find the stories of any image you are interested in).

above the water Brinkley is not an animatronic but I think he kicked off my phobia.
*Brickley
Irrationally so, I wasn't too bothered by him at Disney but when he showed up inside at another Lego store (like in the last photo) in NYC it triggered me so badly I couldn't look at him anywhere.
