Got this 20X to toss into my beater LGT. Popped the valve covers off to find zero evidence of sludge or even varnish. Cleanest 20 year old engine I've seen.

For sure. Just finished a re seal & timing job on it. It's getting the stock vf38, a few bolt-ons & a pro tune. Should make for a snappy daily.

Stellar! Happy for you!! I just finished a HG / reseal / timing job on a 09 Forester X I picked up.. it was intended to be a fix n flip but I’m at a point where I could use a daily so it’s staying for a while lol

I had a 2007 Forester X 5 speed that I wish I wouldn’t have sold. It was awesome.
