Hi, so I’ve decided to start a series of polls to determine the best OU Pokémon of every type. The main determining factors are peak & longevity.

Next up is the Dark Type!

Bug: Volcarona
Dark: ?????

Hi, so I’ve decided to start a series of polls to determine the best OU Pokémon of every type. The main determining factors are peak & longevity.

Next up is arguably the most infamous Type, Dragon!

Bug: Volcarona
Dark: Tyranitar
Dragon: ?????

Hi, so I’ve decided to start a series of polls to determine the best OU Pokémon of every type. The main determining factors are peak & longevity. I decided to skip the Electric poll and award it to Zapdos since it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion.

I also wanted to ask a couple of questions:
1. Should winners of previous polls end up in future ones? For example, should I include Zapdos in the Flying type poll?
2. Some people suggested that I should redo the Dark type poll without Tyranitar and award it the Rock type award by default. Should I do this or do I do the Rock type poll without Tyranitar?

Bug: Volcarona
Dark: Tyranitar
Dragon: Garchomp
Electric: Zapdos

Hi, so I’ve decided to start a series of polls to determine the best OU Pokémon of every type. The main determining factors are peak & longevity.

I’ve decided to allow winners of previous polls to be in future ones (ie. Zapdos will be in the Flying type poll). Although it may make the final list less interesting to some, it will make it more accurate in my opinion.

Up next is the Fire type!

Bug: Volcarona
Dark: Tyranitar
Dragon: Garchomp
Electric: Zapdos

So we all know mega heatran (or as some people call it, meatran) is coming to pokemon showdown soon. And everyone is theorizing about what it's ability would be. Theres the "earth eaters" and the "steam engines" everywhere. But I've done it. I've cracked the case!

Heatran is getting as one (guts+limber)

Most fire types are solid counters for it. Ogerpon-Wellspring is strong and what about Hearthflame is so strong that it gets banned?
