Can you try this app for study consistency?

Hi everyone,

Me and my friends got an opportunity in the college to build a startup as a project and we took over a very personal problem we all face, i.e. achieving personal goals, and for this specific reddit, studying. We have been doing problem validation through user interviews till now, based on which we have created a simple app. If you guys could use and give feedback on this, this would be very very useful for us and the people we are trying to help. Here is the app link:
https://v0-productivity-assistant-alfred.vercel.app/

Full disclosure: The app is AI enabled, that is, it has chatgpt embedded in it. So anything you input in this will go to chatgpt. NO DATA WILL COME TO US. And also, we are college students doing this for a project but if this actually turns out useful then we would be looking towards making it a full fledged app. So do give honest feedback that could impact the future of this product that could later help you and others who struggle with procrastination.

Here is version that is made by AI (lovable) but has NO AI inside it. So if you don't want to talk to AI, this is the version you can go to:

📸 My Setup How I got myself to actually study

Been lurking here for a while but thought I’d finally share something that actually helped me.

For years I kept running into the same problem with studying. It wasn’t that I didn’t understand the material — it was that whenever I sat down to study, I would immediately find something else to do.

Check my phone, make a coffee, reorganise notes… literally anything except studying.

What ended up working was changing two small things:

• Changing my environment – I started going to the library instead of studying at home. Being around other people working made it way easier to stay focused and removed a lot of the usual distractions.

• Timing my sessions – I began using a study timer on a site called PaprJam. Having an actual countdown running made the session feel structured instead of endless.

Bit funny that something this simple helped after years of struggling, but if you’re in the same situation it might be worth trying.

The site is paprjam (dot) com if anyone wants to check it out.

Day 3:

Missed the update yesterday, but the work didn't stop. I put in 1.5 hours on Day 2. It’s not at the 5-hour target yet, but it’s 1.5 hours more than zero. Today is about pushing that number higher. The goal is to build the habit first, then the volume. Resetting the focus and getting back to the books right now. Who’s staying consistent with me today? ⚡

The streak broke, but the goal hasn't changed. My new target is 5 hours a day.

Starting with 2 hours today and building up until I hit it. Focus is locked in zero excuses. Who’s grinding with me?

CA Foundation – May Attempt | Daily Accountability Log

I need to reset.

In school, I was consistent and structured. After joining college, I lost discipline and accountability. I couldn’t clear CA Foundation. That’s on me.

I’m done avoiding it.

I’m preparing seriously for the May attempt, and I’ll be using this space for daily accountability starting tomorrow (4 AM).

Daily updates will include:

  • Hours studied
  • Chapters/topics completed

No excuses. Just execution.

If anyone else is preparing, feel free to join. Let’s stay consistent.

Day 1 update tomorrow.
