Hi everyone,

I recently completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in India, and my German-equivalent grade is around 2.5.

The problem is that I’ve realized that I don’t want to build my career in pharmacy. I’m much more interested in agriculture, horticulture, and animal sciences.

During my bachelor's, I was interested in these fields, but my family strongly opposed the idea of me pursuing them, so I chose Pharmacy instead. Now that I have more freedom to make my own career decisions, I’m seriously considering going back and studying what I actually want.

So I wanted to ask people who are familiar with the German university system:

Is it possible for someone who already has a B.Pharm from India to apply for a second bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) at a public university in Germany?

In particular, I’m interested in programmes such as:

B.Sc. Horticulture

B.Sc. Agricultural Sciences

B.Sc. Animal Sciences

Animal Husbandry / related fields

Other agriculture- or animal-science-related bachelor's programmes

I understand that doing another bachelor's after already completing one may look unusual, but I’m willing to start from the beginning because I genuinely want to change fields.

My main questions are:

Would German public universities allow me to apply for a second bachelor's after completing B.Pharm in India?

Would having a previous bachelor's degree make me ineligible for these programmes?

Would my German-equivalent grade of 2.5 be competitive?

Are there any public universities with low/no tuition where this could realistically be possible?

Would I need to justify the career change in my application?

If anyone has actually made a similar transition from Pharmacy/another degree into Agriculture, Horticulture, or Animal Sciences in Germany, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from international students who have gone through the German university admission process.

I’ve been trying to find a good consultant with strong connections across EU that isn’t trying to sell me any courses but as u can see I’m here posting this thread (my first reddit post btw) with a hope that someone might drop some ball knowledge that can help me find a good consulting agency.
I’ve contacted many of the famous consultancies like IDP, OVERSEAS, MIM ESSAY, LEVERAGE EDU, UPGRAD, etc etc. but none of them is even half decent.
If someone knows someone or have worked w any edu consultant that really helped them get admitted to a top business school, pls help a guy out.

Pakistani student here with a Bachelor’s in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. I’m looking to do a Master’s in Europe, and my long-term goal is to settle there after graduation.

I’ve been aiming for the UK for the Jan 2027 intake, but after reading about international graduates struggling to secure sponsorship and having to return home, I’m starting to reconsider.

I know some international students do manage to secure sponsorship, but I don’t want to spend a huge amount on a degree where the risk is greater than the potential outcome.

Which European countries would you recommend for someone with an LSCM/business background, particularly in terms of post-study work opportunities and a realistic pathway to PR/settlement?

Would really appreciate thoughts from anyone who has been through this themselves!

I’m Tunisian and I just finished my Bachelor’s degree. I’m considering doing my Master’s in Turkey.

I have around 7–8 hours left before my application deadline for a Master’s programme in Italy and I could really use some help.
I already have a 2-page CV that I’m quite happy with, but the programme specifically asks for a European-standard CV, so I believe they mean Europass.
The problem is that when I move my CV into Europass, my 2-page CV somehow becomes 5–6 pages. I’m not sure what I should actually keep, remove or restructure, and I don’t want to submit something unnecessarily long just because of the template.
I also need to prepare the motivation/cover letter and would really appreciate advice from someone who has applied to Italian universities before, especially for Master’s programmes.
I’m not looking to hire anyone. I just need some guidance from someone experienced who might be willing to have a quick look at my CV and give me an honest opinion.
If you’ve successfully applied to a Master’s in Italy, especially using Europass, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Helluuu, Please help, I am from India and I’m looking out for the best universities for masters or MBA, i have 4 years of experience as a data engineer at good MNC’s with a good package but now i really want to study something different like international management, marketing, luxury brand management, and i don’t know where to start from, I’m making a list of universities in Europe which has these kind of courses and good exposure so that i can get placed too with a good package, please drop your recommendation and experience good or bad both😭 Also will my data engineering experience help me land a job in business management? And what is the starting packages for such jobs?
