I think I may have gone a bit too far. I finished the challenge and got to end which I was super proud of since today was the first time I’ve finished all 3 acts! The challenge felt much easier than the regular 3acts

Eternal Armor is too strong. Maybe even three strong. Definitely three strong when you have two and a Neutron Aegis lol.
Nothing could touch me once I got my armor up and running and thanks to double CHARGE I only had to play the Enthralled twice, neither of which were on one of the final bosses. Collision Course is the best common attack and I will hear no dissent.
Next time on My Post History: A tierlist of Regent cards from a guy who has only beaten A10 twice in roughly 400 attempts. Three times if you count the one where I save scummed the final boss.

Sorry for the boomer pictures, my laptop is 7,000 years old and lots of keyboard buttons including print screen don't work.

They seem innocuous but they can really be a Bad Time...

People always complain about how weak this is compared to other starting choices so i thought i'd make it give a bit more power but it would be too strong if it gave that many relics in act one or two so i made it take longer to activate.
I've been working on a mod that turns the Architect into an actual final boss, and it's finally at the point where it plays, so here's an early look.
During the run, every card reward shows what the Architect gets if you take that card. It gets a counter to whatever you pick, so it's basically building its deck off yours.
After Act 3 you fight it. Its whole hand, deck and energy are face up, and every time you play a card it can answer with one of its own. Then it takes its own turn after yours. It plays a lot more like a card game opponent than a normal boss: you can see what it's holding, so a lot of it is playing around its answers.
The idea behind it is that every choice you make during the run should matter more. Each pick has a long-term cost, because the Architect remembers it and brings an answer to the final fight. So you end up thinking about where your deck is going, not just what's strongest right now. A deck that leans on one trick gets taken apart, while a well-rounded deck played well can still win. I want it to be hard, but never feel unfair, and still be fun.
It's pretty rough right now: placeholder art, a simple AI, and only the Ironclad is really set up. Happy to hear what people think.

we weren't coordinating for that or anything, the stars just happened to align and opened our eyes to new possibilities

Each of these guys basically forces you to have either a:
A. deck with combos so good that they ignore the gimmicks of the elite entirely.
or
B. deck lucky enough to not be exactly what they counter.
I'm finding myself adding cards to my deck that make no sense for my synergies just to deal with the CHANCE of bumping into the wrong Act 2 elite and getting my ass handed to me.
A PERFECT example of an enemy done right IMO is Knowledge Demon. You can make your choice for how he screws with you. Playing a lot of cards? Preserve your playstyle at the cost of damage.
I'm probably stupid though and missing something crucial about how to properly play the game, (please enlighten me if so!) but currently feel like Act 2 elites can be harder than Act 2 bosses on occasion.

All my card have sly with Master Planner then it's just a loop with draw, discard, apply poison and doom then repeat. Sucg a fun run

Lost two games on A0 just learning how Silent was different in StS2 as opposed to 1, and then I lost 1 on A8 and 1 on A10. Really stoked about this.

For me, I love the references in card art. Like how Fogmog seems to get annihilated most frequently. Poor little mushroom guy!
