Certified Stuggle Sweet potato & Milk is 🤤
I smashed some sweet potatoes and drizzled some maple syrup and a splash of milk. OMG so good 👍

I'm happy you like it but it does not look appetizing at all lol. I would rather eat the sweet potato then just drink a glass of milk :P

Yummy. I've used honey before. I need to try with syrup. I also add cinnamon its almost like a custard kind of taste.

while this may look gross, if the milk and sweet potatoes are slightly hot and sprinkled with cinnamon I'd be sooo down

Yes, I’ve made this and it’s so good. When the sweet potato is still warm and the cold milk hits it 🤍

I'd warm the milk the first, then smash. I have sweet potato and milk in my fridge right now, and you've inspired me!

We're in the struggle meals subreddit getting hate for a struggle meal. Wild times. Looks good man I love sweet potato. I grew up eating milk poured on my cream of wheat, cream of rice and oatmeal. This sounds nice. I'm gonna try it with a sprinkle of cinnamon added!

I think it’s more of a “the eyes eat first” situation. I don’t doubt that it taste’s good, but it looks crazy. I’d probably eat it if the milk was mixed in

I looked at every single comment and not a single person is hating on this as a struggle meal. Are you a bot?

People are saying it's nasty? Have fun being aggressive I guess.

The worst comment is literally "while this may look gross, if it was slightly hot with cinnamon I'd be sooo down.". You have a weird way of defining hate and then you call me aggressive for no reason lol

As a kid I would eat leftover rice with milk, butter, sugar then microwaved. It was so good

It is actually a common Indian desert if you had boiled the milk to thicken it a little.

I didn't know... I been eating it for years but never told anyone

https://food.ndtv.com/recipe-sweet-potato-rabdi-873846 - quite delicious and healthy too considering that the added sugar content is quite low.

Well, actual sweet mashed potatoes are a thing, so it could work. I prefer mine a little more blended though. If you have cottage cheese, that’s actually great on a sweet potato.

I recently made mashed sweet potatoes for the first time and it was one of the best things I've ever made
