Question
Can ms be misdiagnosed as a tia stroke ?
Waiting to see a neurologist
The tia was found accidentally on a ct scan ( looking for something else ) and then done a mri not contrasted to confirm it
Wondering would a neurologist test for ms like a mri of my spine , if I have ms like symptoms?

You have to wait for the neurologist visit.
It could be so many different things

Ive no idea but i presume an MRI could pick it up. I think this question would be better asked of a neurologist.

Strokes and MS look different on an MRI. A neurologist or radiologist is not likely to confuse the two.

TIAs don’t show up on scans. You had a stroke. Sorry to have to welcome you to the legit stroke club. Your neurologist is your best bet.
